What a save!
Juranović's cross in from the right is headed goalwards by Doekhi, and with Rothe closing in, Omlin has to be brave to palm the ball away and preserve Gladbach's lead! A big moment late on!

Wolfsburg ahead
The Wolves have turned this game on its in 10 minutes! Vagnoman handles Wimmer's shot inside the area, and from the resulting spot-kick, Amoura keeps his cool. Nübel did get a hand to it, but he wasn't able to keep it out.

Is that the winner?
Freiburg finally break the deadlock in the dying embers of this match thanks to ex-Freiburg man Treu's own-goal. It's really unfortunate for the Pauli man as he looks to cut off the cross from the left but can only divert into his own net.

Out of nowhere
That is Wolfsburg's first shot of the match, and it is in the back of the net. Amoura does fantastically to find Tomás in space in the box, and the Portuguese taps home despite Nübel's best efforts.

What an impact!
Woltemade has been on the pitch a matter of minutes, but he has already made his mark. It's a brilliant run from the striker, who weaves his way past two defenders before finding the bottom corner. Brilliant.

Double change Freiburg
Dinkçi and Beste are on for Freiburg as the visitors search for a winner. The latter replaces Grifo who has had a day to forget after his earlier penalty miss.

Two successive chances!
Jeong lays it off to Hollerbach who was arriving at the edge of the box. The attacker hits it straight at Joe Scally, before it bounces back to Haberer on the rebound, who slices it wide with a first-time shot.

Vasilj denies Grifo again
A great free-kick this time from Grifo has Vasilj racing across his line to parry clear. That was destined for the top-corner but the Pauli 'keeper did well to get across.

Almost a stunner from Hack!
The speedy winger, who has been a real thorn in Union's side so far today, cuts in from the left before firing a powerful long-range effort towards goal. Rønnow is rooted to his spot and can only watch as the ball comes crashing off the crossbar - what a goal that would have been!

Grifo misses!
Freiburg have now missed all four of their Bundesliga penalties this season and this is awful. Grifo goes for a panenka but Vasilj stays upright and completes an easy catch. They look good when they work and terrible when they don't.

Masouras makes it two!
Bochum's press forces makeshift BVB right-back Süle to miscue his back-pass and play in the marauding Masouras, who races clear and beats Kobel with a deft finish.

Tap-in for Kleindienst!
Stöger slips it through to Ngoumou on the right flank, who has the freedom of the right side of the penalty box. He drives towards the by-line, gets his head up, and picks out an unmarked Kleindienst, who simply has to prod it home from a few yards out to double the Foals' advantage.

Huge block
Chabot produces a massive intervention to deflect Wimmer's shot from eight yards over the bar for a corner.

Bold way to announce your return
With just his second touch of the ball, Omlin throws a dummy to win himself some space against the pressing Jeong, but then slips with his next step. Fortunately for the substitute, he is able to complete his clearance and avoid any problems.

Brandt shows his skill
The BVB playmaker does well to control a sharp pass and round his man in one move. Pushing forward towards goal, he tries his luck from 25 metres but the low drive goes just wide.
13'

Big chance
Out of nowhere Freiburg are nearly in front. Dōan races through and his first touch is delightful but Vasilj stands tall and denies the Japan international. Pauli were caught napping there.
11'

Guirassy has a crack
Keeping up the pressure Dortmund work the ball to the edge of the area where top scorer Serhou Guirassy looks to curl a low shot in at Horn's left-hand post. Blocked well by the Bochum keeper.
10'

Ullrich opens the scoring!
The left-back drives inside before shifting it out wide to Hack and continuing his run forward. He then receives the ball back from his teammate in the centre of the penalty box before taking a touch and blasting it past Rønnow. The visitors lead!
10'

Masouras again
Bochum work the ball into the area, with Hofmann's touch falling for Masouras, who tries his luck but doesn't trouble Kobel.

Bright start from the hosts
Pauli have looked lively early on, with Weißhaupt particularly keen to drive at the Freiburg defence. Promising stuff.

Almost the perfect ball
Following some good movement from Hack, Elvedi threads a delicious ball into the path of the winger who had got himself into the box. Unfortunately for the Foals, Union 'keeper Rønnow was alert to the danger and managed to smother the ball before Hack could do anything with it.

Early work for Nicolas
Juranović sends in a long throw from the right touchline, and after an attempted headed clearance, it gets knocked back into the box and into the path of Hollerbach, who fires a tame header towards goal that is safely collected by the Gladbach 'keeper.

Title on the line?
There's still plenty of football to be played this season but this meeting does feel like it could prove decisive in the title race. That's because Bayern go into Matchday 22 with an eight-point lead over Leverkusen. A victory for the hosts would haul them into within five points of the visitors, while defeat would see that gap stretched to 11. That will feel like a lot with 12 games to go after this weekend.

Plenty to play for
Pauli go into Matchday 22 with a seven-point buffer to the bottom three and safety well within sight. As for Freiburg, they occupy sixth-place's final European spot and a win today would take them to within just one point of fourth-placed RB Leipzig.

Time to turn it around
A convincing UEFA Champions League win in midweek was just what the doctor ordered as far as Dortmund are concerned. They're now looking to earn a first league win under Kovač and Bochum represent their best bet at doing so. The home side are rock bottom on 11 points, with just two Bundesliga victories all season.

What's at stake?
Well, Union are 10 points clear of the bottom three and now looking to finish the season as strong as possible, while pulling further ahead of the relegation places. Seven points and five places ahead of them are Gladbach in eighth, just two back from a European spot.

The lay of the land
Both teams are in the hunt for Europe, with Stuttgart able to leapfrog RB Leipzig into fourth-place if they pick up victory today. As for the visitors, Wolfsburg are ninth and five back from their hosts. Victory for them would ensure the Wolves keep pace with the pack.
