Ever increasing numbers of American nationals are currently on the books of soccer teams in Germany, but how did the likes of Gio Reyna, Jordan and Joe Scally get on during the 2022/2023 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 seasons?

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Reyna recovered from the injuries that plagued his 2021/22 campaign to become a feature of Edin Terzic's squad this term. The USMNT star floated between a starting berth and a place on the bench during Dortmund's failed title tilt.
Last matchday
Reyna replaced Donyell Malen in the 63rd minute on the final day of the season as BVB drew 2-2 at home against Mainz.

On loan from Dallas in the recently-completed season, Che was promoted to the first-team squad over the winter break. The club has now confirmed that they will not be making his loan from Dallas permanent.
