Tim Lemperle is making his 50th appearance in the Bundesliga 2 (18th for Cologne, 32 for Fürth). So far, he has scored 14 goals (eight for Cologne, six for Fürth).
Five changes in total
In addition to the changes at the back, there are also two new players up front: Tim Lemperle starts for the first time since matchday 15, and alongside him, Imad Rondic gets his second chance in the starting eleven (previously on matchday 23 against Düsseldorf). That makes a total of five changes for Cologne - the most they've made this season (also five recently in the 1-0 win in Ulm).

Billy Goats successful in top flight
Cologne won their last away match in Paderborn on 6 March 2020 in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory. In their last Bundesliga 2 encounter at the Home Deluxe Arena in February 2019, they led 2-0 until the 80th minute but still lost 3-2. Florian Kainz received a second yellow card in the 89th minute of that match.

Paderborn have won the last four encounters in the Bundesliga 2! In the first-leg match, they came from behind to win 2-1 in Cologne, thanks to substitute Sven Michel who netted twice.
