No support
Richter has plenty of space during a counter-attack, but there are hardly any Darmstadt players with him, so the opportunity fizzles out.

Time wasting
Richter sees yellow. He takes too much time to hand the ball to Kersken for a goal kick.
66'
Another opportunity!
Papela wins back a ball that seemed lost with a great tackle and plays it back from almost the goal line to Richter. He spots Białek in the middle, but his it's saved by Kersken who just manages to get his fingers it.
64'
Hornby has to come off
The Scottish striker can't continue. Kohfeldt brings on Białek and uses the substitution window to also bring on Will for the very active Marseiler.
62'
Several interruptions
In the last few minutes, substitutions, injury breaks and fouls have led to a stuttering flow of play. The match is nowhere near as fast-paced as it was in the first half.
61'
Hornby down
Meanwhile, the Darmstadt goalscorer goes down holding his leg and is receiving treatment.
61'
Another yellow
Lannert receives a yellow card after bringing Corredor down on the wing.
59'
Kohfeldt also makes a change
Papela replaces Akiyama in midfield.
56'
Yellow card for the keeper
Schuhen takes too much time with the goal-kick and receives a booking for it.
55'
Double substitution for Bielefeld
Sicker and Wörl are brought on to provide fresh impetus.
53'
Confidence is flowing
Corredor and Hornby play a one-two with their heels but in the end it's just fancy footwork without substance, as no shot on goal comes from it.
47'
Punched away!
Schneider has a go from a distance. The ball moves in the air, so Schuhen decides to punch it away rather than catch it.
46'
Goalscorer comes off
Lidberg only had 10 touches of the ball, the fewest of all 22 players - but as so often, he made the difference.
46'
We're back underway!
The second half begins with substitutions on both sides.

Another chance!
The visitors are really waking up now. Momuluh plays the ball low into the middle, where Sarenren Bazee is perfectly positioned, but isn't quick enough to guide the ball over the line!
45'
No penalty!
Hempel looks at the scene and then decides on a corner. Holland does touch the ball with his elbow during his defensive action, but in the referee's eyes, after viewing the footage, this is not punishable.

Arminia fight back
Momuluh shoots from distance towards the goal. His shot is deflected by Holland for a corner. Was there perhaps even a hand involved in the play?
37'
Lidberg on fire
With his ninth goal of the season, Lidberg moves to the top of the goalscoring chart, drawing level with Elversberg's Ebnoutalib. The Swede has also scored in six out of his last seven Bundesliga 2 games.

Another ball recovery
Marseiler wins the ball from Boakye and, with a bit of luck, also gets past Schneider. His through ball to Hornby is a bit too long but they win a corner, although no significant danger comes from it.
21'
Relentless Lilien
Darmstadt already have 10 shots on goal after 20 minutes – in the last league match against Schalke, Darmstadt managed only five shots on goal in 90 minutes.

Crossbar!
18'
Almost a second!
Corredor brings down a long ball, turns on his own axis and then volleys from the right corner of the penalty area, which is met with an equally impressive save by Kersken.
16'
Bielefeld can't get out
Through Momuluh, Arminia want to progress the ball on the counter-attack, but Marseiler is alert and wins the ball back while tracking back.

Great understanding
Marseiler takes the corner, this time Hornby flicks it on to the far post to Maglica – the combination played exactly the other way around compared to the opening goal, but the defender fails with his attempt on goal.
9'
Bielefeld behind early again
Just like in the DFB Cup match against Union, Bielefeld fall behind early due to a set piece. In Köpenick, they conceded from a free-kick in the 10th minute.
8'
Hornby scores his fourth
The Scottish forward scored in the cup, scored again today – and now has four competitive goals this season (two each in the league and cup).

Referee Hempel blows the whistle to start the match.

Title race
Darmstadt could move to within three points of league leaders Schalke with a win. Bielefeld want to increase their cushion from the bottom, but with a defeat, their lead over 16th place could fall to just three points tomorrow.
More on that Bielefeld team
Mitch Kniat fielded the same starting line-up in the recent home victory against Elversberg as well as in the cup match against Union, but today he makes one change: Wörl sits on the bench, and Micheler gets his first start for Arminia. The young Austrian, on loan from Hoffenheim, has only made three brief appearances so far.
Comeback for Holland
Fabian Holland has made five brief appearances totalling 17 minutes of playing time this season. On Wednesday, he played the full 90 minutes and is now in the starting line-up again just four days later. Holland tore his cruciate ligament in April 2024 during the club's top-flight days and missed the entirety of last season.
Darmstadt with the cup heroes
Florian Kohfeldt names the same team that beat Schalke 4-0 in the DFB Cup on Wednesday. Compared to the last league appearance, also against Schalke, this means four changes: Regular starters Lidberg, Klefisch and Lopez are back after suspensions or injuries and former captain Fabian Holland starts.

Kohfeldt the key?
Florian Kohfeldt has never lost against Bielefeld as a coach, collecting 10 points in four Bundesliga matches with Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen.
A game with history
In Darmstadt's last victory against Bielefeld (4-3 in September 2017 in Bundesliga 2), Kevin Großkreutz scored twice for the Lilies. In May 2014, they prevailed in a dramatic relegation play-off against Bielefeld and were promoted to Bundesliga 2, winning 4-2 over two legs with the decisive goal coming in the 120th minute.
