Full time: Heidenheim 3-2 Freiburg

Incredible scenes in Heidenheim, who went both 1-0 and 2-1 down before turning the game on its head in the final few minutes to claim three points that could yet prove to be priceless.

Late drama!

There's chaos in Freiburg's boxas they try to deal with a low cross from the right. Atubolu and Ginter have a mix up, with the goalkeeper tipping the ball onto his defender and it ricocheting into the net!

Half-time: Heidenheim 0-1 Freiburg

Höler's early goal is the difference between the teams so far. There's been plenty of grit and thundering challenges, but otherwise not too much by way of goalmouth action.

The view from Freiburg

We have a lot of respect for Heidenheim," said head coach Christian Streich in the build-up to the clash. "I can see them remaining in the Bundesliga for years to come. We must enter this game with maximum hunger and energy, otherwise FCH will eat us up. We must want it more than they do."
