Bayern's success so far this season has been driven by the brilliance of the side's dynamic front three. KaneOlise and Luis Díaz have scored a remarkable 48 goals between them in the Bundesliga this season, and they each got on the scoresheet against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Olise's display was especially eye-catching. After hammering home his side's fourth goal of the night with the final kick of the game, the France international collected the Man of the Match award in trademark insouciant fashion.

Bayern won 6-4 on aggregate to progress to the semi-final stage of the competition, where they will face holders Paris Saint-Germain. If they are to go all the way and win the Champions League this season, it will certainly mark out Olise as one of the world's best wingers - a status that Kane believes he has already earned.

In a post-match interview with American television, Kane remarked: "Michael is great. Sometimes I think Michael has a persona from the outside, I don't think people get to really know what he is like as a person. He's a great character, a great guy in the changing room. He works extremely hard in the gym, with extra finishing and extra training."

The 32-year-old went on to emphasise Olise’s commitment to reaching the very top of the game, suggesting the winger’s performances in key moments are setting him apart on the European stage.

Kane added: "You can see the determination from him to be one of the best in the world, and right now, he is definitely up there. So if he keeps putting in performances like he has throughout the whole season, but especially in these big moments, he is going to be a big player for us, for sure."
