'Both parties are very keen' - Bayern Munich CEO on Harry Kane contract talks
Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has said he expects to hold contract talks with Harry Kane when the striker returns from holiday in the USA.
Kane, who helped England finish third at the FIFA World Cup 2026 this summer, has scored 146 goals in 147 appearances for Bayern since joining the club from Tottenham in 2023.
His contract with the Bundesliga champions expires at the end of the coming season, but Dreesen says both club and player are eager to extend the 33-year-old's stay in Bavaria.

"Both parties are very keen [to extend his contract]," Dreesen told a press event in Munich on Tuesday. "Now we need to make sure those expectations align and that we find common ground.
"As far as I know he's still in the USA. We'll speak when he returns, as we'd arranged."
The Bayern CEO also quashed rumours that Michael Olise and Luis Díaz might be leaving the club this summer, branding the speculation as "astonishing".
Bayern begin their campaign against Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup on 22 August before welcoming VfB Stuttgart to the Allianz Arena in their Bundesliga opener six days later.
