Harry Kane says he can “definitely see” himself extending his Bayern Munich contract beyond his current deal with the Bundesliga champions, which is due to expire in summer 2027.

Kane has plundered an astonishing 103 goals in 106 appearances since joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, helping the Bavarian giants reclaim the Bundesliga title in 2024/25 - the first trophy of his career.

Against Werder Bremen on Matchday 5 this season, the 32-year-old became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a team from one of Europe’s top five leagues per UEFA coefficient, doing so in just 104 Bayern outings.

He is the first player in Bundesliga history to finish as top scorer in each of his first two seasons in Germany, while his tally of 11 goals after six league league matches this term is a top-flight record.

“In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that,” said Kane, who has netted 18 times in all competitions in 2025/26 to help stretch Bayern’s impressive winning start to 10 matches. “Right now, I would say we’re in a fantastic moment.

“I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk.”

Despite netting a club-record 280 goals for Tottenham as well as 74 goals in 109 outings for England, Kane had never won a trophy prior to last season’s Bundesliga title triumph.

The Three Lions captain says that success has left him hungry to get his hands on more silverware during his time in Germany.

“It has given me more motivation to do more and be better,” he said. “I think I’ve shown that this year.

“I was interested in how I would feel after winning [my first] trophy. Obviously there’s still a lot more to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies, for sure.”

Bayern, who reached the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals last term, currently lead the 2025/26 league-phase table following wins over Chelsea and Pafos in their opening two games, with Kane scoring twice in both victories.

Vincent Kompany’s charges also won the Franz Beckernbauer Supercup courtesy of a 2-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart back in August, and face Cologne in the DFB Cup second round after beating Wehen Wiesbaden in round one.
