Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano return to Bayern Munich training

Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano have all returned to Bayern Munich training following their involvement in the latter stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They arrive back with just over a week until the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup clash with Klassiker rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The trio kicked off their condensed pre-season preparations with performance tests on Friday and will participate in full team training throughout next week.

Their return to training comes almost a month after Kane’s England beat France 6-4 in the bronze medal match at the World Cup, although the Three Lions’ captain was an unused substitute for his side’s win over Bayern teammates Olise and Upamecano.

They’ll now re-join forces for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign, where Bayern will once again look to compete on all fronts.

Following their Supercup meeting with Dortmund, Vincent Kompany’s side will kick off their Bundesliga title defence at home to VfB Stuttgart on 28 August.
