Karl, 17, scored in each half as Germany ran out 6-0 winners in Fürth to make it three wins from three and consolidate their place at the top of Group B.

Bayern teammate Tom Bischof hit a hat-trick, before Hoffenheim prospect Muhammed Damar rounded out the scoring as a second-half substitute.

Translation: What a performance from our boys for the Germany U21s!

Previously capped at U15s, 16s and 17s level, Karl's debut double for Antonio Di Salvo's U21s is the latest in a growing number of standout performances in the early part of his breakout campaign.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt academy player became Bayern's youngest-ever UEFA Champions League goalscorer with his effort against Club Brugge in October, before opening his Bundesliga account in Mönchengladbach just days later. The rocket-propelled strike was later voted the Bundesliga's Goal of the Month.

Karl, who only made his Bayern debut at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, also has a Bundesliga assist to show for his first 14 competititive appearances for the club's senior team.

A left-footed wide player likened to Bayern legend Arjen Robben, the teenager is represented by former Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern, Chelsea and Germany ace Michael Ballack.

His existing youth deal with the record champions will automatically convert into a professional contract upon his 18th birthday on 22 February 2026.
