Serge Gnabry working on Bayern Munich comeback at training ground
Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry returned to the training pitch at the club’s HQ this week as he steps up his recovery from an adductor muscle tear in his right thigh that forced him to miss the FIFA World Cup 2026.
On Tuesday lunchtime, the Bayern winger completed an individual training session at Säbener Straße.
After some running and mobilisation exercises, the 30-year-old also trained with the ball under the guidance of fitness and rehab coach Simon Martinello.

Gnabry suffered the injury in a training session in mid-April and consequently missed the season run-in with Bayern, as well as the World Cup with the Germany national team.
Now, however, Bayern’s No. 7 has taken another step towards his comeback.
David Santos Daiber also trained at Säbener Straße on Tuesday. The central midfielder suffered a muscle tendon tear in his left thigh while playing for the reserves at the start of May.
