Bayern Munich face anxious wait on Klassiker injuries to Ismael Saibari, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise

Saturday’s Der Klassiker ended all square as Borussia Dortmund salvaged a late draw at Bayern Munich, who also endured a frustrating evening on the injury front.

Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry were forced off in the space of three first-half minutes at the Allianz Arena, with Michael Olise also departing with an apparent injury late on in the match.

Saibari came off second best in a challenge with Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel and was seen leaving the stadium on crutches, while Gnabry and Olise appeared to go to ground off the ball with muscle injuries.

"I can't yet say exactly how serious their injuries are," said Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen afterwards.

The Bundesliga champions were pegged back twice by Dortmund on Saturday evening, taking the lead through Konrad Laimer in the first half and Dayot Upamecano in the second.

But goals from Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva earned Borussia a point, with newly crowned Ballon d’Or winner Harry Kane also missing a second-half penalty with the score at 1-0.
