After establishing himself in the senior Dortmund roster in the second half of 2019/20, Reyna played himself into the first-team during pre-season by scoring four goals in six outings.
Head coach Lucian Favre kept faith in the teenager on Matchday 1, fielding him in attacking midfield against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The USA youth international continued his fine form by scoring the opening goal - his first in the Bundesliga - finishing from a difficult angle from Jude Bellingham's pass. He also won the penalty with a driving run that allowed Erling Haaland to score BVB's second of the game in a 3-0 win.
The 17-year-old played the full 90 minutes of the Black & Yellows' Matchday 2 defeat at Augsburg, before putting in a star turn in the Matchday 3 win over Freiburg. The American set up three of BVB's four goals, becoming the first 17-year-old to provide a hat-trick of assists in a Bundesliga game since data collection began. Reyna then started the Matchday 4 victory at Hoffenheim and the Revierderby encounter at home to Schalke on Matchday 5, before earning a breather against Arminia Bielefeld, eventually entering the fray with 15 minutes to go.
He started the Klassiker on Matchday 7, but did not receive an early 18th-birthday present as he left the fray after 70 minutes of the 3-2 defeat. Reyna came off the bench in the closing stages on Matchday 8, having been rested with a view to Dortmund's upcoming Champions League assignment during the week, and he started on the bench again on Matchday 9, coming on midway through the second half to tee up BVB's consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat to Cologne.
Reyna played from start to finish for Dortmund on Matchday 10, scoring a stunning goal in the 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt and he was on the scoresheet the following week with his third Bundesliga goal of the season, but this time in a chastening 5-1 defeat at home to Stuttgart. Reyna also played from start to finish in Dortmund's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen on Matchday 12, the 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin on Matchday 13, and was ony taken off in stoppage time of the 2-0 home win over Wolfsburg on Matchday 14.
Reyna line-up directly opposite national team colleague Adams on Matchday 15 and played from start to finish in a 3-1 win for Dortmund against Leipzig, but missed the Mainz stalemate a week later through illness. He came off the bench in the 73rd minute of Dortmund's 2-1 defeat in Leverkusen on Matchday 17.

During pre-season, Bremen head coach Florian Kohfeld said he couldn't "imagine a starting XI that doesn't include Josh Sargent," and he was true to his word on Matchday 1, sending the USA international out from the start at home to Hertha Berlin. Sargent played from start to finish, but was unable to find the target in a 4-1 defeat.
A week later, Sargent made his mark in his side's 3-1 win Schalke. The 20-year-old assisted the first of Niclas Füllkrug's three goals on the night in his 87-minute performance. He then played 81 minutes of the 1-0 win against promoted Arminia Bielefeld and the entire 90 of the 1-1 draw with Freiburg and 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim on Matchday 5.
Sargent went the distance once more in the 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 6, opening the scoring with his first Bundesliga goal of the campaign. He made his seventh straight start and finished the game in a fourth successive 1-1 draw with Cologne a week later. The Missouri native didn't find a way past Manuel Neuer on Matchday 8, but his impressive campaign continued as he made Bremen's goal as they held the champions to a draw in Munich.
An ankle injury kept Sargent from playing on Matchday 9, but he was back in the starting line-up on Matchday 10, playing 60 minutes of a 2-1 defeat at home to Stuttgart. He then played from start to finish in the 2-0 loss at RB Leipzig a week later.
Sargent went up against US compatriot Reyna on Matchday 12, and played the first 65 minutes of the 2-1 defeat before being substituted off. Matchday 13 saw the striker once again complete 90 minutes as his side achieved a late victory over Mainz. Sargent was on the losing side on Matchday 14 as Bremen lost at home to Union Berlin, before playing 81 minutes of his side's 1-1 draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 15 and the full 90 in the 2-0 win over Augsburg.
The striker lead the line again away to Gladbach on Matchday 17, but came off after 74 minutes in a 1-0 defeat.

Adams began the season in Julian Nagelsmann's starting line-up, partnering Kevin Kampl in the centre of midfield. The 21-year-old covered the most distance of any Leipzig player by running 6.8 miles (11km) across his 90 minutes in his side's 3-1 win over Mainz to begin the campaign with victory.
On Matchday 2, Adams again excelled in the Leipzig midfield, again covering the most distance (7.5 miles/12.1km) and almost snatching a winner in a 1-1 draw at Bayer Leverkusen.
He was named in the starting line-up for the Matchday 3 encounter with Schalke, but suffered a back injury in the warm-up and pulled out as a precaution. Adams was back in the starting line-up when the Bundesliga returned after the international break as Leipzig saw off Augsburg 2-0 to stay top. A ligament injury forced him to sit out the Matchday 5 win over Hertha Berlin, but he came back off the bench in a 3-0 win over Freiburg on Matchday 7.
Adams played the full 90 minutes at right-back on Matchday 8 as Leipzig were held to a 1-1 draw in Frankfurt and was in the starting XI again a week later. The 21-year-old was on the field from start to finish in Leipzig's crunch Matchday 10 draw away to Bayern, and came on at half time in the 2-0 win over countryman Sargent's Werder on MD11.
Adams was a second-half substitute against Hoffenheim on Matchday 12, coming off the bench to help turn a 1-0 lead into a 1-0 win.
On Matchday 13, Adams was once again at the centre of things and helped Leipzig keep a clean sheet against Cologne. He started in the Matchday 14 triumph over Stuttgart, but was substituted off late on due to injury.
Adams recovered in time to play the full game on Matchday 15, a 3-1 defeat at home to Reyna and Dortmund, but was an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw at Wolfsburg. He came of the bench in the 77th minute of Leipzig's narrow win over Union Berlin on Matchday 17.

Brooks was an unused substitute in Wolfsburg's first two competitive games of 2020/21 (in the DFB Cup and UEFA Europa League qualifying), but has started and played all 90 minutes in each of his side's nine Bundesliga outings and both he and his side are yet to suffer defeat in the top-flight this season.
The centre-back scored at both ends of the pitch in his most recent outing as Wolfsburg edged Bremen 5-3 on Matchday 9, with Brooks netting a header for his side as well as an own-goal early in the second half.
He played every minute on Matchday 10 as Wolfsburg set a new club record with their 2-2 in Cologne, going unbeaten for their first ten games of a season for the first time ever. Brooks played the full 90 minutes again on Matchday 11, and although he conceded a penalty, he helped the Wolves come from behind to beat Frankfurt 2-1.
He missed the Matchday 12 defeat to Bayern through a back injury, but returned to the squad against Stuttgart on Matchday 13. Brooks came off the bench in the 73rd minute and helped the Wolves record a 1-0 win that took them into the top four.
Brooks went the full distance again on Matchday 14 as VfL began 2021 with a defeat away to Dortmund. He played the full 90 in Wolfsburg's 2-2 draw with Union Berlin, and four-goal stalemate with RB Leipzig.
The USA international helped the Wolves to their fifth shut-out of the season against Mainz on Matchday 17, playing from start to finish in a 2-0 win.

Having made his Bundesliga debut towards the end of the 2019/20 season, Richards was included in Bayern's roster on Matchday 1 of the new season against Schalke. He replaced Jerome Boateng in the 72nd minute, helping the side maintain a shut-out in a thumping 8-0 win.
The 20-year-old has also made four appearances for Bayern's reserves in the German third tier, captaining the side and claiming an assist in the win over Wehen Wiesbaden. Richards also made a second-half cameo in the DFL Supercup win over Dortmund.
A first Bundesliga start then came in the dramatic 4-3 win over Hertha Berlin on Matchday 3 and the 20-year-old made an immediate impact by laying on Robert Lewandowski's goal to make it 2-0. It was Richards' first Bundesliga assist as the youngster lasted 65 minutes in his maiden run-out in the Bayern starting XI. Injury kept him out of the squad for Matchday 4 and he was not included on Matchday 5, but was an unused substitute again on Matchdays 6, 7 and 8.
Richards came off the bench for the final seven minutes of Bayern's 3-3 draw at home to Leipzig on Matchday 10 as a replacement for Jerome Boateng but remained an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw at Union Berlin the following Saturday. The USA international was again on the bench throughout on Matchdays 12, 13 and 14, but was not in the squad on Matchdays 15 and 16.

The latest US talent to arrive in the Bundesliga, Hoppe made his Bundesliga debut in Schalke's starting XI against Gladbach on Matchday 9, playing 81 minutes in a 4-1 defeat.
He was in the squad again on Matchday 10, and came off the bench in the 3-0 home reverse to Leverkusen. The Californian's next outing was on Matchday 12, appearing in the 86th minute of the Royal Blues' 2-0 loss at home to Freiburg.
Hoppe was not included in Schalke's squad for the Matchday 13 loss against Bielefeld, but was handed his second top-flight start in the 3-0 defeat to Hertha Berlin on Matchday 14. The American lasted 80 minutes, going close to opening his account in the first half with an inventive acrobatic attempt.
Hoppe was sensational on Matchday 15 as Schalke snapped a 30-game winless run, hitting a hat-trick in a 4-0 thrashing of Hoffenheim, and added to his tally with another fine finish in the 3-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt a week later.
The American underlined his growing reputation with his fifth goal of the season in a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Cologne on Matchday 17.

The 30-year-old came off the bench for the second half of the Eagles' 5-0 defeat away to Bayern Munich on Matchday 5, but was an unused substitute against Sargent and Bremen a week later and again on Matchdays 7, 10, 11 and 12.
On Matchday 13, Chandler came off the bench late on to help Frankfurt secure the points in a 2-0 victory over Augsburg. He was not included in the squad for the Matchday 14 win over Leverkusen, but was an unused substitute again in the ensuing wins over Mainz and Schalke.
