Frustration
The visitors simply can't get into the match. Bulic takes out an opponent on the touchline and receives a deserved yellow card. Lorenz is ready to come on.

2-0 from Scherder!
Once again, Lorenz delivers a good set piece into Regensburg's penalty area. With his left foot from the left side, the ball sails into the six-yard box, where Scherder outmuscles two opponents and heads it into the right corner. Is that game over?
68'
Into the wall
Adamyan takes the free-kick and fires the ball into the Preußen wall. Münster can only clear the ball confidently when Kinsombi winds up for a long kick.
67'
Perfect free-kick position
Viet is brought down by Ter Horst just outside the penalty area. Free-kick for Regensburg and a yellow card for the Preußen player.
66'
Double substitution for the visitors
Hottmann, who had the best chance for Regensburg in the first half, and Ernst leave the pitch. Bauer and Huth come on, bringing fresh attacking potential.

Hottmann with the shot
The first decent attack from the visitors is neutralised by Schenk. Hottmann had previously won the ball against his opponent after a cross from Pröger, but didn't make clean contact with it. However, on the poor pitch, Schenk has to stretch to gather the bouncing ball.
63'
Perfect timing
Breunig slides in perfectly on the right flank to intercept Kinsombi's attempted pass and clears it for a throw-in. There's still a good half hour to go in Münster and the pressure from the home side has eased somewhat.
60'
Nasty collision
Scherder and Adamyan clash heads in the Preußen penalty area. The Münster player requires treatment.
58'
When will Patz react?
The visitors are not in the game at all in the second half and can thank goalkeeper Gebhardt that it's not already 2-0 or even 3-0. Offensively, Adamyan has struggled to get into the game. Regensburg will have to react if the visitors are to get anything out of this match.
57'
Pick with a dream cross!
From the right, the in-form Pick delivers a silky cross with his left foot into the visitors' six-yard box. Friðjónsson rises high and nods the ball just wide of the left post of Jahn's goal. Münster are clearly the better team in the second half. They're just lacking the goals.

Gebhardt saves brilliantly!
The Jahn goalkeeper has to stretch full length on the goal line after a header from very close range and brushes the ball away from the corner with his fingertips. Kinsombi can't convert the rebound, so it remains 1-0. But Preußen are on the verge of extending their lead here. Regensburg are offering little to nothing.
51'
Nearly 2-0!
Münster are on the attack and Kinsombi has a great chance to make it 2-0 in the penalty area as his shot from the right of the six-yard box narrowly misses the far post. Kinsombi was completely unmarked in the visitors' penalty area after a weak headed clearance by Hein.
49'
Kinsombi drives forward
The experienced Preußen man not only set up the goal but is also the driving force for his team in the second half. On the right, he wins another corner.
47'
Proper relegation battle
Kinsombi takes on three players at once before losing the ball on the right touchline. Several tackles follow in succession, before the home side use a lot of physical effort to run the ball out for their own goal-kick.

1-0 to Münster!
Friðjónsson, who was painfully hit just moments ago, is on the spot after a cross from Kinsombi. The striker plucks the ball out of the air, turns around his opponent and slots it past Gebhardt into the net from close range. The goal is briefly checked, but the score stands and currently takes Preußen out of the bottom three.

Unfortunate incident
After a long throw-in from Lorenz, the newly introduced Friðjónsson stumbles and falls, before being unfortunately caught by the studs of another player. The striker holds his right side above the hip and requires treatment. Coach Hildmann is frustrated. However, it seems the striker will be able to continue.
39'
A lively encounter
Both teams rarely have control over the ball for long periods, possession changing quickly and regularly between the relegation-threatened sides.

The best chance for Münster
Pick receives a long ball well on the left side of the penalty area, dribbles past an opponent and then shoots from a tight angle. The ball whistles over the crossbar.
35'
Hildmann takes no risks
Amenyido, who has already been booked and received another warning from the referee, leaves the pitch early for Preußen. Friðjónsson comes on as a substitute.
34'
The converted defensive midfielder
Kühlwetter, who is actually a forward by nature, is currently playing as a defensive midfielder for Jahn and is doing really well, having won all of his tackles so far today.
32'
Another foul
Amenyido, who has already been cautioned, clatters into Wurm and receives a stern talking-to from the referee. The Preußen striker can't afford many more mistakes.
29'
Missing the ball
Ernst slides in on Pick near the touchline and unfortunately catches the Münster player on the ankle. The card stays in the pocket, and the free-kick is sent high and long into the Regensburg penalty area. Gebhardt jumps past the ball, and Jahn have to clear what was initially a harmless situation for a corner.
26'
Jahn well in it
The bottom side have won 57 percent of the duels so far and have also had the best chance of the match by far through Hottmann.
25'
Hit in the face
Bazzoli accidentally catches Viet in the face with his elbow during an aerial challenge. No intent, but still a yellow card.

22'
Hottmann gives his all
On the right, Hendrix makes a perfect sliding tackle against the breaking Hottmann. However, Hottmann immediately gets up and blocks Hendrix's clearance attempt with his body in mid-air, resulting in a throw-in. Good play from both.
20'
Too much commitment
Amenyido, who has not been visible in Preußen's game so far, rushes into Bouchama with too much speed. It's unnecessary near the visitors' penalty area and results in a yellow card.
17'
Good build-up play
Schenk is sought out by his teammates in front of him multiple times during the build-up play. Jahn are pressing extremely hard, yet Schenk keeps his cool and plays the ball forward on the right side with concentration on the slippery pitch.
15'
Counter-attack thwarted
Adamyan chases after Lorenz following the corner and brings down the Münster captain. The referee decides it's a tactical foul and shows the yellow card.
14'
Koulis concedes a corner
Pröger's cross is cleared by Koulis for the first corner to the away side.
12'
Throw-in, corner, counter
The home side come forward again on the left and Lorenz sends the ball in once more. The visitors clear it with a header for Münster's first corner. The ball pinballs through the penalty area, evading friend and foe alike. Afterwards, Adamyan initiates a counter-attack and draws a foul against Hendrix at the halfway line.
10'
Schenk with a brilliant save!
The Preußen goalkeeper gets down quickly after a header from Hottmann and scoops the ball away with one hand. A fantastic save by the 22-year-old, preventing his team from falling behind.
10'
Captain Lorenz throws...
...the ball from the left touchline deep into the visitors' penalty area. However, the home side manage to clear and avoid any major danger.
8'
Schenk on the spot
Hottmann shows strength in a challenge on the right and attempts to play the ball across into the hosts' penalty area. The pass is deflected and is easy pickings for Schenk at his near post.
6'
Through the penalty area
Regensburg get a chance to cross from a Pröger free-kick from the half-space at the left corner of the penalty area. The ball sails with pace through the six-yard box but ultimately doesn't pose a threat.
5'
Deep grooves
After a collision between Kühlwetter and Kinsombi, chunks of turf fly from the pitch. The playing surface in Münster is in a difficult condition.
4'
High pressing
The visitors are pressing Münster early and putting pressure on their build-up play. Münster are currently struggling to get past the halfway line in an organised manner.
2'
Down the right flank
The home side try to advance towards Jahn's penalty area down the right wing. However, this only results in a few throw-ins.

The ball is rolling!
Münster kick off this relegation six-pointer in their own stadium.

Milestone for Ernst
Ernst is playing his 200th match in Bundesliga 2 today. It's his 18th appearance for Jahn, in addition to 111 matches for Fürth, 63 for Hannover and eight for Würzburg.
Goal-getter on the bench
Steinfeldt from Münster's second team is part of the matchday squad in Bundesliga 2 for the first time today. The 28-year-old striker has impressive goal-scoring records for Münster II in the Oberliga-Westfalen, with 17 goals in 18 matches. In the two previous seasons, he scored 25 and 27 goals respectively.
Lorenz back in
For Lorenz, this is his first start since Matchday 5. Last week, he was suspended due to accumulation of yellow cards.
Münster without key players
Preußen are missing captain Kirkeskov, defensive leader Paetow and top scorer Mees - all suspended for today's match. The trio had each received their fifth yellow card in the last match against Paderborn. Scherder, Koulis and Lorenz replace them.

There is only one change for Regensburg compared to the 1-1 draw against HSV. Suhonen is absent today, and Viet takes his place in the starting XI for the first time since Matchday 18.

The elite referees of the German Football Association are mourning the loss of former head referee Volker Roth and will wear black armbands this weekend. Roth passed away on Monday at the age of 83.
Sascha Hildmann on facing Regensburg
"We must not make the mistake of rushing into things. So, not to charge in over-motivated, headlessly and run into the open knife. We want to play forward in a controlled manner and ultimately leave the pitch as winners."
Andreas Patz on facing Münster
"Münster are a robust team and have strengthened again during the winter break. Their recent matches have been very close, and they've only been beaten shortly before the final whistle. They will do everything to secure the three points in front of their home crowd and keep us at bay. For us, it's important to go there with confidence and aim to get our first away win."
Regensburg suits Kinsombi
David Kinsombi has scored three times in his last six Bundesliga 2 matches against Regensburg, including once in the current season. He was on the scoresheet for Paderborn on Matchday 8 in their 3-0 home win.
Encounters in Münster
During the 3-1 away victory at the Preußenstadion in April 2024, Regensburg scored all three of their goals within the first 26 minutes. Münster's last home win against Jahn dates back to March 2015.
