That strike came after Manu Koné's red card, and Cologne further made use of the one-man advantage in the 90th minute, when Luca Waldschmidt fired beyond Moritz Nicolas via the post.

Initially, Kainz decided to go with a panenka, which was saved by the shot-stopper.
