After four consecutive defeats, Augsburg stopped the rot with a home win over Wolfsburg. Noahkai Banks got his first goal for the club and young star Mert Kömür (pictured) scored his second of the season, taking him to four goal involvements in six games.

Consecutive losses to RB Leipzig and Stuttgart may have had Cologne fans worrying that their strong start was merely that, but a win and clean sheet away to Hoffenheim has Kwasniok's charges back on track and ready for the visit of Augsburg.
