Set-piece troubles

Since the turn of the year, Augsburg have conceded twice as many goals from set pieces (eight) as any other Bundesliga club. They gave up four goals from dead-ball situations across their first 15 matches of the season.

Heidenheim on the brink?

It's not looking good for Heidenheim, who are bottom of the overall, home and away tables. They've also won the fewest games (three) and lost the most (14) so far in 2025/26, whilst scoring a league-low 19 goals and shipping an unwanted division high 47.

Heidenheim had to wait until Matchday 5 to pick up their first of just three league wins so far this season. They also beat Augsburg at home in 2024/25 (4-0), but have lost their other three against Die Függerstädter, including two on Augsburg soil.
