Little joy for hosts in Leipzig v Bayern
Leipzig have won just three of their 21 competitive meetings with Bayern, and two of those came in Munich. Their only previous win at home to the Bavarians came back in March 2018 (2-1).

Champions on the road - again?
Leverkusen's win against Augsburg last week prevented Bayern sealing the title in front of their own fans with their 3-0 win against Mainz. Claiming the title on their travels would be nothing new for Bayern - just two of their last 17 Bundesliga title wins have come in Munich, 13 have been in away matches and two have come while the team were on the sofa or bus.
Record breakers
Bayern would secure their 34th German title (and 33rd Bundesliga honour) with a win today, while no other side has as many as ten. After 90 goals this season, they have an outside chance of setting a new record goals' total - with the current best being their own 101 goals in 1971/72.

Previous meetings
The past two Bundesliga meetings have gone Bayern's way with an aggregate score of 7-2, while the record over 10 games reads as: six wins for Bayern, two for Leipzig and two draws.
On the cusp
With eight points separating Bayern from Leverkusen in second, a win here would mean that the title returns to Munich. Having already scored 90 goals with three games remaining, Vincent Kompany's side have been almost unstoppable this season, and need just one more win to confirm yet another Bundesliga title for the club.
Unpredictable
Having looked like title challengers in the early stages of the season, Leipzig now face a challenge to qualify for Champions League football next season. Currently in fifth and just two points behind Freiburg, Die Roten Bullen will need to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Frankfurt if they're to take points from Bayern.
