It's been a while...
Münster's only competitive victory against Karlsruhe was a 2-1 home win in the third division on 20 April 2013.
Wanitzek on fire against Münster
Their previous three encounters in the third division (taking place between 2018 and 2019) were all clearly won by Karlsruhe (4-1, 5-0, 3-0), with Marvin Wanitzek assisting a total of five goals in these three matches.
Flashback
Münster and Karlsruhe were founding members of the Bundesliga in 1963. Now they're playing together in Bundesliga 2 for the first time. In their first meeting this season, Lukas Frenkert secured a point for Münster with a stoppage-time equaliser at Wildpark.
