Serge Gnabry extends Bayern Munich contract until 2023
Serge Gnabry has been rewarded for his fine performances for Bayern Munich in 2018/19 with a new deal to remain at the club until 2023.
Gnabry has scored six times and provided two assists in just 14 Bundesliga starts for the reigning German champions this season, and has now put pen to paper on a three-year extension at the Allianz Arena.
"I feel really really good here," said Gnabry, who spent his formative years at Arsenal. "I have a lot of fun with the team. I'm hoping to win trophies and have a lot of good moments, and I'm looking forward to a great future with FC Bayern. Things are going well for me on the sporting front right now, but I know that I have the potential to improve further."

After failing to establish himself at Arsenal, Gnabry shone at Werder Bremen, and signed for Bayern in summer 2017 only to then request a loan move in order to gain first-team experience. The 23-year-old Germany international did that at Hoffenheim last season, and has become an integral part of Niko Kovac's squad in the current campaign.
"We're happy Serge has tied himself to Bayern long term," explained the club's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. "He has taken a big step forward in his first season with us. Serge is one of our band of promising youngsters, and is an important component of Bayern's future. We're convinced that we'll get a lot more joy out of him."
