'It's just going to take a few days' - Harry Kane edging closer to Bayern Munich contract agreement
Harry Kane is closing in on signing a new contract at Bayern Munich, according to club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.
Talks have been ongoing since August, with Kane entering the final few months of the four-year contract he signed following his move from Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2023.
On Monday, Kane became the first Bundesliga player to win the coveted Ballon d'Or award in 30 years, beating off competition from Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé and Barcelona's Lamine Yamal to claim the prize.

"We're working out the details right now," Dreesen told BILD on Wednesday. "That's just going to take a few days. It's normal for the lawyers to go over the finer points with each other one more time.
"We'd already discussed and negotiated all the important issues before the Ballon d'Or ceremony."
Kane revealed during last month's international break that talks with Bayern were "going well" - and that the two parties were "pretty close" to reaching an agreement.

"There are still a few things we need to sort out," he said. "I'm happy here. I think it won't be long before there's some kind of announcement."
Since joining Bayern, Kane has won two Bundesliga titles, the DFB Cup and two Franz Beckenbauer Supercups. He is also the only player to finish as the Bundesliga's top scorer in each of his first three seasons in Germany.
The 33-year-old was an unused substitute in Bayern's 6-1 DFB Cup victory over Magdeburg on Tuesday but is set to return to the starting XI when Borussia Dortmund visit the Allianz Arena in Der Klassiker on Saturday.
