There were 16 players on the initial shortlist for the Player of the 2025/26 Season so far, including leading scorer Harry Kane, breakout youngster Luka Vušković and in-form Deniz Undav.
By voting in the official Bundesliga app every day, you can make sure your favourites make it to the next round.
How it works
Whether it’s through goals, crunching tackles or brilliant saves, all of the nominees have made their mark in the first 15 games of the season in their own way.
In total, 16 players were nominated for the first round:

- Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund)
- Gregor Kobel (Dortmund)
- Haris Tabaković (Borussia Mönchengladbach)
- Saïd El Mala (Cologne)
- Luka Vušković (Hamburg)
- Aleix García (Bayer Leverkusen)
- Alejandro Grimaldo (Leverkusen)
- Fisnik Asllani (Hoffenheim)
A new round of voting kicks off every day at 2pm CET.
The 16 nominees go head-to-head in one-on-one match-ups, with the winners moving on to the next round until only one player is left standing. The final will start on Thursday, 8 January.
