Eintracht Frankfurt took a big step towards qualifying for the UEFA Europa League round of 32 after substitute Jens Petter Hauge scored an injury-time winner against Olympiacos.

Olympiacos 1-2 Eintracht Frankfurt
Goals: 1-0 El-Arabi 12' (assist: Onyekuru), 1-1 Kamada 17' (assist: Borre), 1-2 Hauge 90'+2 (assist: Lindstrom)

Frankfurt won the reverse fixture to maintain their unbeaten start, but fell behind to an early Youssef El-Arabi goal in Greece. The Eagles weren’t behind for long, though. Soon after conceding, Rafael Santos Borre played in Daichi Kamada to fire past Tomas Vaclik from inside the area for 1-1. Kevin Trapp then came up with two big saves to deny Giorgos Masouras and Mady Camara, and preserve parity going into the break.

Henry Onyekuru spurned Olympiacos’ only real attempt of a cagey second period, turning well but shooting wide with almost an hour on the clock. Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner rang the changes, with substitute Jesper Lindstrom lashing wide with a warning shot of his own. With time running out, the Danish attacker collected a pass from Evan N’Dicka to turn provider for AC Milan loanee Hauge’s dramatic close-range winner. The result sends Frankfurt four points clear at the top of the section, with two games to go.

YES, THEY CAN!

The substitutes combine as Lindstrom tees up Hauge to give Frankfurt the lead for the first time! Brilliant work from N'Dicka to win back the ball in the build-up. Surely that's all three points?!

Five minutes still to play in Greece. Can Frankfurt summon one final push?

HAUGE TIME

Hauge has previous in the Europa League, having scored three and assisted one in five appearances for parent club AC Milan. Can the Norway international work his magic in the closing stages?
68'

WIDE!

Lindstrom fashions space on the edge of the area for a shot, but he can't find the target. Promising introduction...

TALKING TACTICS

No surprise to see Lammers get the hook. The Frankfurt striker, through no fault of his own, hasn't been able to influence the game. The quick feet of Lindstrom should be better suited to unlocking this Olympiacos defence.
57'

BIG CHANCE!

Frankfurt live to fight another day as Onyekuru gets into the area and arrows wide of the upright. He's kicking himself for not at least hitting the target!

FRANKFURT ASKING ALL THE QUESTIONS

Oliver Glasner's side have emerged from the dressing room with real purpose. We've already seen them win a corner, and Kamada very nearly found Lammers with a flicked header into the box just now.

HALF-TIME: OLYMPIACOS 1-1 FRANKFURT

Frankfurt will remain top of Europa League Group D if it stays like this, though they'll be hoping Trapp has less to do after the restart.

TRAPP-MAN

Olympiacos build again down the left. Mady Camara meets the cross, but his powerful drive doesn't beat Trapp. A cat-like flick of the paw from the Frankfurt custodian.

CLOSE!

Frankfurt living dangerously as Reabciuk crosses for Mady Camara, who heads narrowly wide of the upright. Trapp's then forced to push a shot from Masouras behind.

TRAPP DOES HIS JOB

Kevin Trapp comes up with the goods to deny Aguibou Camara's curling strike from the edge of the area. A pretty routine save for the Germany international, who isn't happy with the way his defence let the Olympiacos midfielder through.

MR. EUROPA LEAGUE

That's Kamada's second goal in 14 competitive games this season, with both falling in the Europa League. His tournament tally now reads eight goals and three assists in 20 games.
17'

FRANKFURT LEVEL!

What a response! Santos Borre plays a peach of a pass into the feet of Kamada. He's one-on-one with Vaclik, and doesn't disappoint. The keeper gets something on it, but the ball goes in off the post.

WARNING SHOT

Jakic arrows an effort wide with Frankfurt's first effort on the Olympiacos goal. That's more like it!
15'

HALF CHANCE!

Olympiacos threaten again as Masouras finds M'Vila with a free-kick. His volley sails just wide, though. Frankfurt need to nip this in the bud!
12'

FRANKFURT BEHIND

Spoke to soon! The home side forge ahead with their first meaningful attack. Onyekuru powers up the left and into the box, before sending over a cross that's turned in by El-Arabi from close range.

EAGLES SWOOPING

Frankfurt are really getting in the faces of the defending Greek champions. They're not used to this sort of intensity.

FEELERS OUT

We've seen a lot of niggling challenges in the early stages. Very cagey, with the home fans jeering every Frankfurt touch.
