Bayern Munich's Harry Kane closing in on 100 Bundesliga goals - when will he break the century mark?

Harry Kane has already sent countless records tumbling in three prolific seasons with Bayern Munich. By the time the full-time whistle blows on his next Bundesliga appearance, the England captain may well have broken another.

Kane is only one goal shy of a century of German top-flight strikes, having found the net 99 times in only 97 league outings for the record Bundesliga champions.

The 33-year-old hit 95 Bundesliga goals more quickly than any other player in the division’s history. For context, Dieter Müller, the previous record holder, needed 123 matches to reach the same milestone goals for Cologne.

Müller hit the century mark six games later, but a Kane goal against a struggling Union Berlin side on 18 September would leave the Bayern star on 100 goals after only 98 appearances - 31 games (almost an entire Bundesliga season!) fewer than the former West Germany striker.

The law of averages suggest he should reach 100 goals at the Allianz Arena on Friday. Kane has found the net once every 78.5 minutes in the Bundesliga since his arrival in 2023 - a quota better than the likes of Erling Haaland (87 minutes), Robert Lewandowski (100) and Gerd Müller (105).

Whether or not he hits 100 Bundesliga goals this week, it is likely to be another memorable campaign for the three-time Torjägerkanone winner and his Bayern team-mates.

With 150 goals in 153 Bayern appearances to date - including 61 strikes in 51 games last term - he might even be celebrating a double century of goals for the record German champions before the 2026/27 campaign draws to a close.
