Harry Kane scored against former club Tottenham Hotspur to help Bayern Munich record a comfortable 4-0 victory in the pre-season Telekom Cup.
Bayern Munich 4-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Goals: 1-0 Kane 12' (assist: Olise), 2-0 Coman 61' (assist: Laimer), 3-0 Karl 75' (assist: Daiber), 4-0 Kusi-Asare 80'
Missed pen: Kane (15')
Bayern dominated from the get-go at the Allianz Arena, with Michael Olise sending a free-kick wide and Leon Goretzka landing a header on the roof of the net.
Kane duly broke the deadlock at the end of Bayern's next meaningful attack, the Ballon d'Or 2025 nominee converting with aplomb after being played through by Olise. The Englishman might have had another soon after, but slipped as he went to take a penalty awarded for Bayern loanee João Palhinha's foul on Josip Stanišić, sending the ball over the crossbar.
Full debutant Luis Díaz set up another presentable opening for Goretzka, whose shot with the outside of his right boot was well held by Guglielmo Vicario. The Bayern midfielder spurned two further chances, but not before Manuel Neuer had done brilliantly to prevent Richarlison from levelling the contest with a fierce shot towards the bottom corner.

Unchanged at the break, Bayern picked up where they left off as Olise misdirected a pin-point Kane cross from close range. The record champions continued to ask all the questions as Konrad Laimer fired narrowly off target, before the one-way traffic yielded a deserved second goal, courtesy of Kingsley Coman's superb run and postage-stamp finish.
Coman turned provider moments later, but Vicario was equal to Kane's effort in his last involvement of the game. The Bayern No.9 was one of nine players taken off by head coach Vincent Kompany for the final 23 minutes, with only Neuer and Díaz remaining on the pitch.
Substitute Lennart Karl's impact was immediate, the 17-year-old winger taking a leaf out of Coman's book and curling a sublime strike into the far corner from outside the Tottenham penalty area.
Swedish teenager Jonah Kusi-Asare followed suit with a similarly sensational drive, while Neuer denied former Bayern youngster Mathys Tel a last-gasp consolation as the defending Bundesliga champions put down a serious marker ahead of the season-opening Franz Beckenbauer Supercup in Stuttgart on 16 August.

Full-time: Bayern Munich 4-0 Tottenham
Bayern win the 2025 Telekom Cup! If this was a sign of things to come for the Bundesliga champions this season, their fans have every reason to get very excited. Harry Kane, Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl and Jonah Kusi-Asare got the goals for the dominant hosts, with the only blemish being Kane's missed penalty in the first half.

End of second half
Nearly a consolation
Former Bayern youngster Mathys Tel gets on the end of a deep cross towards the far post but Manuel Neuer sticks out a leg to deny the Frenchman. Neuer wants his clean sheet!
Wanner wins free-kick
A rare spell of Tottenham possession ends with Cristian Romero bringing down 19-year-old Paul Wanner. Bayern seem happy to let the visitors have more of the ball as we enter the final couple of minutes of this one-sided contest.
A magnificent display
Bayern have been brilliant this evening - and could easily have scored more than only four goals. They still have five more minutes to add to their handsome lead.
What a strike!
Wow, we've been treated to some truly wonderful Bayern goals this evening! Another substitute gets in on the act as forward Jonah Kusi-Asare curls a looping, right-footed shot into the top corner. The 18-year-old enjoyed that one!
Díaz makes way
Luis Díaz makes his way off after another fine display, with Wisdom Mike replacing the Colombian

Karl makes it three!
Lennart Karl gets his name on the scoresheet to deepen Tottenham's woes. It's a fabulous finish from the 17-year-old, who collects a pass on the edge of the area and whips a curling shot into the far corner.

Rare chance for Spurs
Richarlison almost pulls a goal back for the visitors, but his firm header flies just off target. It's been an evening to forget for the Brazilian and his team-mates.
Only Neuer and Díaz remain
Manuel Neuer and Luis Díaz are the only Bayern starters still on the pitch after that flurry of changes. Jonah Kusi-Asare, Paul Wanner, Lennart Karl, Tom Bischof, David Daiber, Cassiano Kiala, Min-jae Kim, Raphaël Guerreiro and Sacha Boey have all entered the fray.
Almost a second for Kane!
Kingsley Coman, who has been brilliant since the restart, threads a fabulous pass into Harry Kane, but the striker's shot is blocked by Guglielmo Vicario. That will be Kane's final action of the game - he is one of nine Bayern players making way.
Kompany about to shuffle his pack
Bayern are 25 minutes away from winning the 2025 Telekom Cup, but Vincent Kompany's side aren't done yet as they continue to push forward in search of further goals. The hosts are about to make a whole host of changes too.

Fabulous goal!
Bayern finally have a second - and what a goal it is too! Kingsley Coman, channelling his inner Arjen Robben, cuts in from the right onto his left foot and curls a sumptuous strike past Guglielmo Vicario and into the top corner. Perfection!

Laimer this time!
Magnificent football from the Bundesliga champions. They move the ball from back to front and Konrad Laimer - of all people - is waiting in the area to get on the end of Kingsley Coman's delivery, but the defender's shot flies over and another chance goes begging.
Bayern still pushing
Tottenham are chasing shadows a lot of the time but as long as it stays 1-0, the visitors will remain hopeful of hauling themselves back into this game.
Should Díaz have shot?
Luis Díaz and Michael Olise combine brilliantly on the corner of the penalty area as the Colombian races onto his team-mate's return pass before sending a low ball across the face of goal - but there's nobody there to turn it home. Should he have gone for goal himself?
Bayern go close again!
Another superb Bayern move almost results in a second goal. Harry Kane is picked out on the right and the England captain pings in an inviting cross for Michael Olise, who can't find the back of the net from point-blank range.
Porro concern
Tottenham defender Pedro Porro has gone down after being caught by a late Luis Díaz challenge, but the 25-year-old is quickly back on his feet.
Bright start from Spurs
The visitors have made a better start to the second period. Richarlison bundles his way down the left-hand side and tries to pick out Mohammed Kudus with an outswinging cross, but the Ghanaian is crowded out in the Bayern box.
Back under way
The visitors get us off and running in the second half. Lucas Bergvall has come on for Spurs, replacing João Palhinha.

Half-time: Bayern Munich 1-0 Tottenham
Tottenham struggled to cope with Bayern for the majority of that first half, but the hosts will be disappointed not to have added to Harry Kane's early goal after creating numerous opportunities to double their advantage. Kane had the best chance to make it 2-0 not long after his opener but sent his penalty over the crossbar.

Half-time
Almost a second
Bayern keep coming as we approach the halfway mark. Harry Kane goes close to a second, scuffing a shot narrowly wide of the far post after getting on the end of a teasing ball into the area, before a heavy Luis Díaz touch allows Guglielmo Vicario to smother the ball at the Colombian's feet.
Into the wall
Kane takes this one but sends his shot into the Tottenham wall before Jonathan Tah fires the follow-up wide.
Promising position
Not for the first time this evening, Bayern have a free-kick in a dangerous position after Cristian Romero drags back Harry Kane around 25 metres from Guglielmo Vicario's goal. Kane and Michael Olise are standing over the ball...
Goretzka again!
Leon Goretzka will be frustrated not to have found the net in this first half. Yet again, the former Schalke man is left unmarked in the Tottenham area but can't steer Kingsley Coman's clipped ball into the far corner, sending his shot narrowly wide of the post.
Just over!
Wonderful football from Bayern, who fashion another opening for Leon Goretzka on the edge of the Spurs box. Konrad Laimer's low cross is deflected into the path of the midfielder, who can't quite keep his shot down.
Neuer saves
Manuel Neuer hasn't had much to do so far this evening but the veteran goalkeeper makes a fine save to deny Richarlison, getting down low to his right to keep out the Brazilian's goal-bound, right-footed drive.
Díaz almost finds Kane
A moment of respite for Tottenham as Konrad Laimer brings down Mohammed Kudus inside the Spurs half, earning the visitors a free-kick. Bayern soon win the ball back, though, and Luis Díaz tries to pick out Harry Kane from the left but loses his footing at the crucial moment.
Flying counter-attack
Mohammed Kudus tries to get the better of Josip Stanišić but the Bayern defender does brilliantly to dispossess the Ghanaian before launching another attack. Kingsley Coman breaks clear down the right and tries to pick out Michael Olise at the far post, but the visitors just about manage to clear their lines.
Goretzka denied
Another decent opening for Bayern as Luis Díaz - who has been very lively in the first half so far - feeds Leon Goretzka, whose shot with the outside of his right boot is held by Guglielmo Vicario.

Bayern dominating
The hosts continue to dominate proceedings, despite that minor setback a few moments ago. Tottenham have won a corner in a rare foray forward, but other than that it's still all Bayern.

Kane misses!
Bayern loanee João Palhinha's foul on Josip Stanišić gives Harry Kane an opportunity to double his tally from the spot, but the England striker slips as he's about to hit the ball, which sails high over Guglielmo Vicario's crossbar.

Kane strikes!
A magnificent, raking pass from Michael Olise finds Harry Kane inside the Tottenham penalty area. The frontman takes a touch before guiding a low shot into the bottom corner, and Bayern have the lead!

Goretzka goes close!
The free-kick is whipped into the penalty area but Leon Goretzka - left unmarked by the Tottenham defence - can only guide his effort onto the roof of the net. Another let-off for the visitors.
Kane fouled
Bayern win the ball back deep inside the Tottenham half. Harry Kane tries to release Luis Díaz but is fouled by Cristian Romero around 35 metres from goal - another free-kick to the hosts.
Just wide!
It's Olise who steps up to take the set play but he can't quite steer his effort on target.
Early opportunity
Michael Olise drives forward towards the edge of the Tottenham penalty area before being brought down by Richarlison - right on the edge of the box. Bayern have a free-kick in a very, very dangerous position.
Off we go!
Bayern, wearing their new UEFA Champions League kit, get us under way in Munich. Can the Bundesliga champions claim their second victory of pre-season in the 2025 Telekom Cup?
Kick-off!
Here come the teams
The two sides emerge to a rapturous welcome at the Allianz Arena. Kick-off is just moments away.
Gnabry sidelined
Serge Gnabry, who scored four against Spurs back in 2019, misses out today with a minor muscle problem.

Goals galore
The last time these two teams met in a competitive fixture was in the group stage of the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League. Goals from Kingsley Coman, Thomas Müller and Philippe Coutinho earned Bayern a 3-1 victory on Matchday 6 - just two months after a thumping 7-2 win in London. Ex-Arsenal player Serge Gnabry found the net four times that night.

Familiar faces
Kane remains Spurs' record goalscorer and the door hasn't closed between the two clubs since his move to Bayern. Eric Dier followed his good mate to Bayern before leaving Germany this summer, before Mathys Tel made his move to London a permanent one and Joao Palhinha joined Tottenham on a loan deal of his own.

Tah relishing Bayern role
New Bayern defender Jonathan Tah has spoken to the club's member magazine '51' about his move from Bayer Leverkusen. "It was a leap out of my comfort zone, and that was very much a conscious decision," said the 29-year-old. "It's an honour for me to be seen from the outside as being able to take on a role like that at FC Bayern."

Müller training with Bayern
He won't be involved against Spurs, but Thomas Müller was back on the training pitches at Bayern Munich on Tuesday as he ponders his next career move. Müller called time on his 25-year association with his boyhood club at the end of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign in July, but he has been working up a sweat alongside his former team-mates in a bid to maintain his fitness.

Bayern's pre-season so far
The Bundesliga champions made a late return to pre-season as a result of an extended 2024/25 campaign that saw the Bavarians reach the Club World Cup quarter-final. The players only returned to training at the end of July, and so far, they have only played one pre-season match; a 2-1 win over Lyon.
