HUGE CHANCE FOR HÖLER!
He has to win the game in the final moments after Weghorst's back pass falls straight to him. He doesn't know what to do when one-on-one and in the end the Wolfsburg defence comes back to clear.
We're into three minutes of added time at the end of this one.
A one-sided second half, but the score remains the same. And Wolfsburg are getting a second-wind.
CHANCES GALORE... FOR ONE SIDE
Attempts on goal
ALMOST A CRAZY GOAL!
Pervan takes his time with a clearance from the back and Höler closes it down, and gets a block on the ball. The Wolfsburg goalkeeper's blushes are saved though as the ball flies over the bar.
HUGE CHANCE ON THE BREAK!
Against the run of play Wolfsburg have a huge chance to win it. Mehmedi sends Roussillon into the box and he plays it across goal with both Weghorst and Steffen waiting, but the ball is hit too hard and neither Wolfsburg men can get a touch.
Somehow the French midfielder doesn't have a debut goal. This time he meets Grifo's corner superbly and powers a header at goal, but it goes straight at Pervan who handles it well.
This time it's Heintz who sends a powerful shot at goal from the edge of the Wolfsburg box. Pervan once again is equal to it though as he parries the ball away to his right.

SCHMID FIRES OVER
Three dangerous free-kick takes are over this one, with Günter and Grifo joining Schmid on the edge of the Wolfsburg box. It's Schmid to take though, and he curls a shot just over the away side's crossbar.
Freiburg's striker with by far the most duels won so far this evening.
HÖLER DOING THE HARD YARDS
Lucas HölerJoao Victor
OFF THE POST!
What a moment that would have been for Baptiste Santamaria. The debutant sends a rocket-shot at goal from 25 yards out after a corner had been cleared from the Wolfsburg box. It seems destined for goal, but a finger-tip save from Pervan takes it onto the post. Outstanding save from the Wolfsburg goalkeeper.
GÜNTER HAS A GO!
The Freiburg full-back controls the ball and fires at goal from 20 yards, with Höler looking to get a touch onto it in the box, but the ball drags wide across the Wolfsburg goal.
NO GOAL FOR FREIBURG
Lucas Höler thought he'd put Freiburg back in front, but was offside when Roland Sallai's shot from the edge of the box came in. Höler then mopped up the rebound, only to see the flag raised on the far side.
GROIN FOR VICTOR
The Brazilian winger is replaced by Steffen with a groin problem.
GERHARDT HAS A GO
The midfielder takes aim from range with a strike at goal from 25 yards out. He forces a good save from Müller, while Joao Victor is down and looks unable to continue with a muscular problem.
The second half begins with neither side making a change during the break.
Just the one minute of added time to come at the end of the first half.
BREKALO FIRES HOME!
Brekalo steps up to take a free-kick right on the edge of the Freiburg box and goes with all-out power. Freiburg's wall fails to stay strong and the ball deflects off Sallai's knee and past Müller to level the scores.
Wolfsburg have grown back into this game in the final 10 minutes or so, ending the first half well.
Brooks and Arnold are into the referee's book after a foul on Petersen from the American, and a late challenge from Arnold on Höler.

HÖLER TAKES A KNOCK
The Freiburg forward should be able to continue despite Otavio's challenge, which earned him a yellow card and Höler a blow to the head.
CHANCES ONCE MORE!
Freiburg enjoying themselves in attack here. Schmid's cross isn't dealt with by Pervan and Günter collects it at the back of the Wolfsburg box. His shot is blocked and the rebound falls to Grifo who can't keep his effort on target.
The set piece man for Freiburg comes close to scoring from a free-kick just 20 yards from goal. Pervan is down well to his left to make the save.
STORY SO FAR
© Daniel Kopatsch/Getty Images
A look at the stats shows little difference between the two sides so far. Besides the most important one, with Freiburg ahead through Petersen.
LITTLE TO SEPARATE THESE TWO
We forgot to mention a late change to Wolfsburg's team. Koen Casteels pulled up in the warm-ups with a foot injury meaning that Pavao Pervan has come in to start with Lino Kasten taking his place on the bench.
The Brazilian winger weaves his way into the Freiburg box past Lienhart and keeps the ball in play before looking for Malli in the middle. He's working from a tight angle though, and Müller's foot blocks the ball away.
PETERSEN, WHO ELSE!?
Freiburg's magic man in attack does the work once again. He runs to the near post to meet Grifo's corner and flicks the ball beautifully back across goal while on the run, beyond Pervan and into the back of the net.
GINCZEK WITH THE NEXT CHANCE
Malli once again involved as he slides the ball into the path of Ginczek on the run across the edge of the Freiburg box. He works space to shoot, but can't drag his strike on target and hits the ball wide past the Freiburg goal.
VICTOR GETTING GOING
Wolfsburg have the first attempt on goal of the game as Malli sends Victor into the Freiburg box. He sends a powerful strike into the side-netting at the near post of Müller's goal.
Both sides on the ball early on and showing good promise. Freiburg's 2,000 home fans making good noise, too.
HERE WE GO!
The ball is rolling here in the Schwarzwald-Stadion with Freiburg's new stadium not quite ready for the start of this season. A few more games in the old ground are greatly received.
