Full-time: Kaiserslautern 2-2 Greuther Fürth

Kaiserslautern escape from 2-0 down to earn a deserved point after an impressive fight back. Both winners last time out, this was clearly a match between two of the Bundesliga 2's better sides, and it was finished fittingly with Ache scoring on his return.

Equaliser! Wow!

Of all people Ache scores the equaliser. A great long ball from Ritter finds Opoku, who passes to Ache on the left. He turns with his back to goal and scores via a deflection in his first game of the season.

Kick-off at Betzenberg

We're underway!
Kick-off!

Ache in the squad for the first time

FCK's top young striker Ragnar Ache is in the squad for the Red Devils for the first time since last season. The 26-year-old missed large parts of pre-season due to problems with his Achilles tendon.

New continuity at Lautern?

For only the second time this calendar year, FCK are fielding the same starting eleven in two consecutive Second Division games. The last time this happened was in March, when after a 3-2 home win against Osnabrück there followed a 1-1 draw away at Hannover. The manager back then was still Friedhelm Funkel. Now new manager Markus Anfang seems to be satisfied

Both teams unchanged

Both teams won against promoted sides on the opening matchday, seemingly pleasing their managers: Kaiserslautern go into the game at the Betzenberg with the same starting XI as the one that beat Ulm 2-1, just like Fürth who won 3-1 against Münster.
