Full-time: Schalke 1-2 Elversberg
Elversberg defend third place in the Bundesliga 2 on the final matchday and will face Heidenheim in the relegation play-offs for a chance to clinch promotion to the Bundesliga. Half-time: Cologne 2-0 Kaiserslautern
Cologne have proven equal to the task against Kaiserslautern, turning in a confident first-half performance. Unless something completely unexpected happens here, the Billy Goats will be playing in the Bundesliga once again next season.

Half-time: Darmstadt 0-1 Regensburg
The bottom-placed team are defending with concentration today, having recovered from the early shock of the disallowed goal in the first minute. They've offered several dangerous set-pieces thanks to Handwerker. The 1-0 lead is deserved, even though Darmstadt have been somewhat careless with their finishing at times.

Half-time: Schalke 0-1 Elversberg
The visitors deservedly lead 1-0 at half-time in Gelsenkirchen thanks to Petkov's powerful shot, which is currently enough to secure the relegation play-off spot. However, there are still 45 minutes to go.

Lars Barlemann's thoughts
"We're looking forward to this match, we've worked hard for it on the training ground. The aim is to deliver another good performance."

Torsten Lieberknecht on facing Cologne
"Kaiserslautern owe Friedhelm Funkel a huge debt of gratitude. It will certainly be an emotional and special match. Not only in terms of the game itself, but also with everything surrounding it as well. Everyone is looking forward to it; we noticed that in training as well."

Daniel Thioune on facing Magdeburg
"I have a great deal of respect for the opponent and their development. Magdeburg are playing the best second division season in their history, which they surely want to cement with three points and redeem themselves for their last home game against Preußen Münster. In recent matches, they may have tripped up a bit, but they have a great offence, good positional play and an excellent manager on the touchline."

Merlin Polzin's thoughts
"No one needs to motivate us for Sunday's match. We are still competitors and we want to win the league. Even though our main goal has already been achieved, we still want to have a photo with the championship trophy at the end."

Jakob Fimpel on facing Elversberg
"It's a big opportunity for Elversberg. They're having a strong season, are strong going forward and have a close bond with one another. But primarily, it's about us performing better than we did last week against Düsseldorf."

Miroslav Klose on facing Braunschweig
"We went into the winter break after a good home win in the first half of the season [against Braunschweig]. That's also the goal for Sunday."

Daniel Scherning on facing Nuremberg
"Nuremberg will be an opponent who will also try everything to win this match. It's great that we're playing at home and that we have the fans behind us. We've won many important matches here. We've shown that we can deliver top performances here and that's the goal for Sunday."
