Frankfurt make a double change just before the restart with Alidou and Borre replacing two of Die Adler's heries in this game, the double scorer Lindstrom and the excellent Kolo Muani.

Rode was off the field receiving some treatment for a knock to the ankle but the 32-year-old rolls up his sock and runs back into the action. He's made of strong stuff, is Sebastian Rode.

This is all too simple for Die Adler. A corner from the left by Lenz is headed into the corner of the goal by Dina Ebimbe. Doesn't get more straightforward.

Eintracht are talking this game by the scruff of the neck now. The twinkle-toed Kolo Muani races upfield and frees Götze, whose shot is blocked.

Kolo Muani is played through. The France international pushes wide of Sippel and this looks a likely goal. Eintracht's No.9 pulls the trigger but is denied at the last by Sippel.

Kamada goes in, studs up, on Thuram. A no brainer for the ref there, Kamada goes into the notebook. This game has plenty of edge to it.

The free kick is tapped to Lindstrom who has a blast at the target. His effort is easily blocked.

Lindstrom is just too quick for Weigl, who brings down the Eintracht forward. Yellow Card for Weigl and a freekick in an interesting position for the Eagles.

Kolo Muani gets forward, pushes right and then lashes a shot across the face of goal and wide.

And there it is! Stindl gives up possession cheaply as Gladbach build. The visitors turn it over quickly with the ball arriving to Kolo Muani who plays in Lindstrom. There's plenty of work for the Dane to do as he races forward. Lindstrom gets a lucky break with the ball breaking back to him, and then another when his shot rolls in off Sippel.
