Ottmar Walter scored twice in front of 85,000 spectators at Berlin's Olympiastadion to crown Kaiserslautern champions for the first time, with legendary brother Fritz Walter (pictured l.) picking up the trophy.

In the first match between the two this season, they prevailed 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Ivan Prtajin, leading 3-0 after 24 minutes. Last season, however, the victories were secured late on; Luca Sirch scored in stoppage time for a 2-1 home victory, while Ragnar Ache netted the winner at the Preußenstadion in the 86th minute.
