Andrej Kramarić scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture as Hoffenheim enjoyed their biggest win under Christian Ilzer to date. The 34-year-old Croatian has registered 14 goals and six assists in the Bundesliga this term, including four goals and one assist in his last four appearances.

Haris Tabaković has scored 12 of Borussia Mönchengladbach's 38 Bundesliga goals in 2025/26, which equates to 32 per cent - the highest ratio in the division. The Foals' 38 strikes is their lowest return since the 2006/07 season, when they managed only 23 goals.

Aiming for top four

Hoffenheim are eyeing a top-four finish after leapfrogging Bayer Leverkusen into fifth on Matchday 33. Ideally, Ilzer's men need to better VfB Stuttgart's result against Eintracht Frankfurt on the final day. If they both win, Hoffenheim would need to make up six goals on Stuttgart to clinch fourth place. If both teams lose, they would need to hope that Stuttgart are beaten by six more goals and that Leverkusen fail to beat Hamburg.
