Tah scores, 2-2!
What a turnaround! Having not looked like scoring this evening, Leverkusen now have their second goal and the equaliser. Tah joined the attack in search of a late goal, and he found exactly what he was looking for, with his flicked header from an in-swinging cross finding Müller's far bottom corner.

Five added minutes
Freiburg will have to hold on for a bit longer if they're to secure three points here.
90'
No way through
Leverkusen have been unable to build any momentum from the goal, and look headed for their third defeat of the season.
85'
They couldn't, could they?
Having not looked capable of rescuing a result, the visitors are back in the game all of a sudden. Could they achieve a surprise comeback?
82'
They've pulled one back!
And it's another brilliant solo goal from Wirtz, who drives toward the edge of the box before shooting toward Müller's near post, hitting the inside of the post before seeing his shot bounce in.

Fresh faces
Will Alonso's triple change pay dividends? There's still plenty of time to turn things around.

Work to do
After a lacklustre first half, the Werkself have made the worst possible start to the second 45. As a result, Alonso is readying some changes.

Big save
Kovář is called into action to deny Freiburg from converting their biggest chance of the game so far, as Osterhage charged through the defence for a one-on-one.

Hosts taking the initiative
Freiburg have been pressing aggressively, and Leverkusen haven't dealt well with it so far. The home side are managing to consistently turn over possession in good areas.

Rosenfelder heads over
The subsequent corner is headed well over by Rosenfelder.

Leverkusen shaky
Tapsoba is the next to be dispossessed in the defensive third, this time leading to a corner, from which Freiburg claim a penalty for handball. No penalty is awarded, but Freiburg win another corner anyway.

Plenty of positives
After last season's successes, Leverkusen may be disappointed to not have defended either of their league or cup triumphs, however, they have only lost two league games so far and went as far as the DFB Cup semi-finals. While they exited the Champions League at the last 16 stage, their European campaign did include a victory over current semi-finalists Inter Milan (1-0).
Going in the right direction
Freiburg are eight points away from equalling their best ever Bundesliga points total with three games to spare, marking a brilliant debut season for coach Julian Schuster. They have also made a huge improvement from last season, when they finished tenth on 42 points.

Chance for Freiburg
The hosts, meanwhile, have a big opportunity to move move ahead in the UEFA Champions League qualification race. Should they win today, they will move three points clear of Borussia Dortmund in fourth with two games remaining.
Title race all but over?
Bayern are not yet officially champions, but they're as good as. Their 3-3 draw with RB Leipzig on Saturday means they are now nine points clear of Leverkusen, who can now only finish level on points with Bayern. The Bavarians' +61 goal difference is 30 better than the Werkself's, too, meaning Xabi Alonso would need a huge goal swing in their favour too.

Xabi Alonso: One of the Bundesliga's greatest
Sat in second
With a 12 point gap between themselves and third, Leverkusen have secured second place for this season. While they'll be disappointed that they couldn't retain their title, they did only lose twice all season, with their habit for draws giving Bayern the advantage this year.
Almost
With just three games remaining, Freiburg are in fourth with the possibility of reaching the Champions League for the first time ever. They are just two points above Leipzig though, so will need a big result against second placed Leverkusen if they're to increase that cushion.

More MD32 stakes
Freiburg will secure at least sixth place and a place in next season's Conference League play-offs if they win AND Mainz lose AND Bremen don't win, OR they win AND Mainz lose AND Leipzig don't win.
