Free kick Bielefeld
Grodowski drives the ball forward on the left before being brought down by Conde. Handwerker's delivery again reaches the far post, but Momuluh can't put the finishing touch on his delivery. Elversberg then struggle to clear the ball and Großer gets a header in toward goal, which only narrowly misses the goal.

Accurate
Grodowski scored his fifth goal of the season and just like on the last matchday against Paderborn, he's scored the first goal of the game. He scored in the 17th minute last week, and the 16th this time around.

Penalty?
Wörl goes down in the Elversberg penalty area, but referee Prigan deems it insufficient for a spot kick.

Kniat knows Elversberg

The first of many?
This is the first competitive meeting between these two. In 2021/22, Arminia were still three divisions higher than Elversberg, playing in the Bundesliga while the Saarlanders were in the Regionalliga. Bielefeld then suffered two consecutive relegations, while Elversberg achieved two consecutive promotions, so they always missed each other.
