Never again

On 27 January 1945, the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp was liberated. Since 2004, football matches in Germany around 27 January have become a symbol of remembrance for all the lives persecuted under National Socialism. Bayern Munich and Augsburg stand united today with the message, "Never Again".

There's three changes for the visitors. Conté is fit again and starts in midfield, while Mickelson and Gyamerah are also in the team, replacing Günther and Keidel.

Bochum make just one change from last weekend's 3-3 draw against Darmstadt, with Wätjen replacing Kwarteng. Holtmann is back in the squad for the first time since his injury suffered at the end of November, but he's not yet ready to start.

Vincent Wagner on facing Bochum

"We're facing a very good side. Bochum play very courageously, are very intense in their pressing and good at counter-attacks and set pieces. They weren't considered one of the promotion favourites at the start of the season for nothing. Although their modest league start hasn't improved their situation completely yet, they are definitely on the rise now."

Uwe Rösler on facing Elversberg

"Elversberg have been doing a good job for years. They are a strong team that are deservedly toward the top. Even after they had to replace many people, players and coaches. Hats off to them."
