Arriving at Hoffenheim on the final day of the 2024/25 winter transfer window, Touré recorded three assists in 13 appearances (seven starts) in his first half-season in Germany, ultimately helping to keep his team above the relegation zone.

Now finding his feet in Germany's south, Touré netted his maiden goal for Hoffenheim in their 3-0 away victory over St. Pauli on Matchday 7 of 2025/26. The 5'9" forward has since contributed a further five goal involvements and also leads the way for most sprints and crosses from open play across the division after 13 matches.

Touré's wing mastery first caught the eye at Sweden's Hammarby, where he registered nine goals and four assists in 23 appearances. Prior to his European switch, the left-footer came through at ASEC Mimosas, helping the Ivorian powerhouse win a domestic double in 2022/23.

In keeping with his rise to prominence in club football, Touré was handed his full international debut on 10 October 2025 in Côte d'Ivoire's 7-0 World Cup qualification thrashing of Seychelles as they booked their spot at the 2026 finals.

Plays a bit like: Karim Adeyemi

The similarities between Touré and Borussia Dortmund counterpart Karim Adeyemi extend beyond their cultured left boots and positional preferences on the flanks. They also share blistering speed, a tendency for early crosses, a penchant for dribbling and a Herculean work rate.

Did you know?

Touré is just the second Ivorian to turn out for Hoffenheim, following in the footsteps of Boubacar Sanogo, who played for the club in 2009. He is already the highest-ever Ivorian goalscorer for Hoffenheim, too, although he only needed to surpass Sanogo's one strike to take that mantle.

What they're saying

"Bazoumana is a high-talented and therefore also a very exciting player, who already possesses very good abilities at his young age and still has enormous potential for development. He is a quick, technically strong and dangerous attacking player who fits in with our philosophy of play very well." - Hoffenheim managing director for sport Andreas Schicker
