Latest standings
1) Harry Kane
Club: Bayern Munich
Goals: 18
Appearances: 14
Bayern's razor-sharp No.9 struck 26 times for the record champions last season, adding to his debut campaign haul of 36. In fact, it's now 79 goals in 76 Bundesliga games and counting for the 2024/25 Player of the Season!
Ex-Bayern and Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski holds the Bundesliga's single-season goals record (41, 2020/21) and to date is the only player to claim three or more successive Torjägerkanonen outright - but for how long?
Kane resuced a point for Bayern from the spot against a resilient Mainz on Matchday 14 which took his tally to 18 for the season, with many more are likely to come between now and the end of the campaign.

= 2) Jonathan Burkardt
Club: Eintracht Frankfurt
Goals: 8
Appearances: 10
A summer signing from Mainz, Burkardt ended the 2024/25 campaign as the Bundesliga's top-scoring German player and has picked up where he left off at his new club this term. After opening his account with a double against Galatasaray in the Champions League, the 25-year-old netted in back-to-back games against Union and Gladbach before scoring another brace at Freiburg on Matchday 7.
Further doubles against St. Pauli on Matchday 8 and Cologne on Matchday 11 further underlined his goalscoring ability. He is yet to score a senior hat-trick, but in this form, you wouldn't bet against him doing just that this campaign.
= 2) Deniz Undav
Club: VfB Stuttgart
Goals: 8
Appearances: 10
He missed four of the first six league games of the season with knee ligament damage, but Undav appears eager to make up for lost time.
After opening his account for the campaign in a 2-1 win over Mainz on Matchday 8, the Germany international scored twice in victory over Augsburg before netting a superb hat-trick in Stuttgart's breathless 3-3 draw at Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 11. He followed that up with a goal off the bench against Hamburg, making it seven goals in five league games.
After firing a blank against Bayern on Matchday 13, Undav found the net again, scoring Stuttgart's third against Werder Bremen the following matchday.

= 3) Haris Tabaković
Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Goals: 7
Appearances: 13
Signed on loan from fellow Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, the Switzerland-born Bosnia and Herzegovina international has already surpassed his tally of three goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances for the Sinsheim club last season.
With Tim Kleindienst now back from injury but still working his way back to full fitness, Tabaković is providing cover and competition for the Gladbach talisman and will take some moving from the team on this form when Kleindienst does return.
Tabaković scored in three consecutive games between Matchdays 9 and 11, but fired blanks on Matchdays 12 through 14.
= 3) Luis Díaz
Club: Bayern Munich
Goals: 7
Appearances: 13
The Colombian attacker has been an extra bright spark in Bayern's dazzling array of attacking talents since signing from Liverpool in the summer.
Seven goals in his opening 13 appearances - including a tremendous effort against Union Berlin - shows he has the output to match the hype. His late effort against St. Pauli on Matchday 12 was crucial, too, as Bayern were on their way to dropping two points.

= 6) Michael Olise
Club: Bayern Munich
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
Last season's top assist provider, Olise enjoyed a jaw-dropping 27 goal involvements in his very first campaign in the Bundesliga.
The French wizard wasted no time in showing he fancied beating that tally in 2025/26 with a double against Leipzig as Germany's top division got underway, while his two goals against Freiburg on Matchday 11 helped the Bavarians secure a comprehensive come-from behind victory.

= 6) Christoph Baumgartner
Club: RB Leipzig
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
Austria international Baumgartner only scored twice in 31 Bundesliga appearances last season but has already tripled that tally this term after hitting a purple patch in October.
The midfielder, who opened his account for the campaign at home to Heidenheim on Matchday 2, scored in Leipzig's 1-1 draw at Dortmund in October, netted both goals in a 2-1 win over Hamburg on Matchday 7 and was on target in a 6-0 thrashing of Augsburg the following weekend.
Baumgartner's record for a Bundesliga campaign is seven strikes. It may well only be a matter of time before he surpasses that, especially after finding the net in Leipzig's 6-0 demolition job of Frankfurt on Matchday 13.
= 6) Said El Mala
Club: Cologne
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
El Mala had never played a Bundesliga game before this campaign, but the 19-year-old has hit the ground running.
Since netting a stunner against Freiburg on Matchday 2, the teenager has not looked back. His electric form earned him a Germany call-up for the November internationals and, although he didn't make an appearance, further goals will only boost his outside chances of a place in the squad for next year's FIFA World Cup.
= 6) Yan Diomande
Club: RB Leipzig
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
Diomande burst into life towards the end of October and has been electric ever since. The 19-year-old scored against Augsburg on Matchday 8 - on only his fourth Bundesliga start - before finding the back of the net five times in the next five matches.
That vein of form included an impressive hat-trick against Frankfurt on Matchday 13.

= 6) Fisnik Asllani
Club: TSG Hoffenheim
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
Since returning to parent club Hoffenheim at the start of the season following a fruitful loan spell at Elversberg for the 2024/25 Bundesliga 2 season (19 goals in 35 appearances), Asllani has hit the ground running in the German top-flight.
After netting on his debut in a 2-1 Matchday 1 victory against Leverkusen, the Kosovan international has gone from strength to strength, adding goals against Freiburg, Heidenheim, a brace against Union, and most recently, one against Hamburg on Matchday 14.

= 6) Mohamed Amoura
Club: Wolfsburg
Goals: 6
Appearances: 14
After finishing the 2024/25 campaign as the Wolves' top goalscorer in the league with 10 in 31 appearances, the Algerian forward is right on track to outdo his tally from last term.
Despite Wolfsburg's change in management earlier in the campaign with the dismissal of Paul Simonis, Amoura has remained focused on his playing, and has reaped the rewards thereof with back to back goals on Matchdays 13 and 14 in victories over Union and Gladbach respectively.
