Will Robert Andrich remain Bayer Leverkusen captain under Kasper Hjulmand?
Will Kasper Hjulmand’s appointment as new Bayer Leverkusen head coach affect Robert Andrich’s position as captain?
The Dane, appointed as Erik ten Hag's successor earlier this week, was asked about the topic at his pre-match press conference ahead of Leverkusen's Matchday 3 curtain-raiser against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday.
“When it comes to captaincy, we will form a team of captains," said the 53-year-old.
"We will build a strong group of captains. We need more captains and a strong leadership structure. Leadership is a team sport too."
