Jamal Musiala to wear No.10 shirt for Bayern Munich from 2025/26
Jamal Musiala will wear the No.10 shirt for Bayern Munich from the start of the 2025/26 campaign, the club have confirmed.
Musiala inherits the legendary number from Leroy Sané, who left Bayern for Galatasaray on 1 July after five years at the club.
The 22-year-old has worn the no. 42 since making his debut in 2019/20. With no changes to squad numbers permitted during the FIFA Club World Cup, he will continue to play in his current number until the end of the competition, with the new era beginning from the start of the upcoming season.
Bayern have also revealed that any fan wishing to purchase a shirt with Musiala's new number will be able to take up a special offer of free printing when buying a jersey for the 2025/26 season, either online or in Bayern stores on 1 and 2 July.
