Jamal Musiala has gone from strength to strength since making his first appearance in the German top flight in June 2020. bundesliga.com runs through some of the key numbers that highlight the Bayern Munich and Germany attacking midfielder's rise to prominence.

3 – After starring for Bayern domestically and in Europe, Musiala made three appearances for Germany during the 2022 World Cup. The now 20-year-old started every game for the 2014 world champions - and his performances were widely acclaimed.

4 – The number of times Musiala was voted Bayern's Player of the Month in the first half of the 2022/23 season.

6 – By the end of 2022, the quick-witted attacking player already had six Bundesliga assists for 2022/23.

9 – The number of goals the expert dribbler got in the 14 Bundesliga appearances he made before the winter break during 2022/23. He was Bayern's top player for both goals and assists at that stage of the campaign.

10 – Musiala ensured Bayern made it 10 Bundesliga titles in a row when he got the clinching goal in a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in April 2022.

11 - He repeated the trick in May 2023, scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 triumph in Cologne that helped Bayern snatch the Meisterschale away from Dortmund to make it 11 titles on the bounce.

12 – The teenager scored 12 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions during the first half of 2022/23.

15 – The number of direct goal involvements Musiala registered in the first half of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. He needed only 12 starts and two substitute appearances to reach that figure.

16 – The age at which he joined Bayern from Chelsea in the summer of 2019.

17 – Musiala became the youngest ever Bayern player to feature in the Bundesliga when he came off the bench to make his debut against Freiburg on Matchday 33 of the 2019/20 season. He was aged 17 years and 115 days at the time.

17 – Musiala became Bayern's youngest goalscorer in history when he rounded off the 8-0 thumping of Schalke on the opening day of the 2020/21 campaign. He was aged 17 years and 205 days at the time, but French forward Mathys Tel has since taken the record from him.

23 – The number of Bundesliga goals the former England U21 international had mustered in 90 league appearances so far.

26 – Musiala made seven starts and 19 appearances from the bench in the 2020/21 Bundesliga - his first full campaign in the top flight. He weighed in with six goals and one assist in those 26 games.

33 - The attacker underlined his status in the first team with 26 starts and seven outings as a substitute in 2022/23, ending the campaign with 12 goals and 10 assists.

42 – The number Musiala wears on his back at Bayern. He also had 42 goal involvements (27 goals and 15 assists) in his first 100 games for the record German champions.

50 – Musiala celebrated his 50th Bundesliga win when Bayern got the better of Werder Bremen on Matchday 14 of 2022/23. At 19 years and 255 days, he was the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach that milestone.

63 – The number of minutes Musiala played for during his first Bundesliga start against Werder Bremen in November 2020. That was the same month he made his first UEFA Champions League appearance during a 6-2 win in Salzburg.

100 – Musiala played in his 100th game for Bayern in all competitions when he started in the 2-0 success at Schalke in November 2022 at the age of 19 years and 259 days. True to form, the youngest ever Bayern player to bring up his century made both goals and was named the Bundesliga Man of the Matchday for his performance.

2021 – Shortly after becoming Bayern's youngest ever goalscorer in the Champions League - in a 4-1 victory over Lazio - a 17-year-old Musiala made his Germany debut against Iceland in March 2021. Later that year - at the age of 18 years and 117 days - he featured at UEFA Euro 2020 to become the youngest Germany player to line out at a major tournament.
