DFL sets fixtures for remainder of 2020/21 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 seasons
DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga released the exact schedule for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches from Matchday 29 until the end of the season.
Matches now confirmed include the visit of league leaders Bayern Munich to third-placed Wolfsburg on the Saturday of Matchday 29 (17 April, 3.30pm CEST), while the Rhine derby between Bayer Leverkusen and Cologne kicks off at 6.30pm CEST on the same day. Midweek fixtures are scheduled for Matchday 30 (Tuesday, 20 April, and Wednesday, 21 April). A kick-off time has also been set for the tie between fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund and second-placed RB Leipzig on Matchday 32 (Saturday, 8 May, 3.30pm CEST). Bayern host Borussia Mönchengladbach three hours later, at 6.30pm CEST.
As things stand, all fixtures on Bundesliga Matchday 33 are scheduled for Saturday, 15 May, at 3.30pm CEST. There may be some alterations, as the final of the DFB Cup is due to be played two days beforehand (Thursday, 13 May). Three Bundesliga clubs are still in this competition: Dortmund, Leipzig and Werder Bremen. If one or two of these clubs get through to the final, the Bundesliga matches involving these teams will subsequently be moved from Saturday, 15 May, to Sunday, 16 May, in order to allow sufficient recovery time.
