
DFL confirms remaining times for 2022/23 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fixtures
The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the remaining fixtures in the 2022/23 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 campaigns. This last set of fixtures covers Matchdays 31, 32 and 33. Matchday 34 in both divisions will see all games played simultaneously, on Saturday 27 May in the Bundesliga and Sunday 28 May in the second division. All Matchday 34 games kick off at 3.30pm CEST.
Among the fixtures to have now been set in stone is the local derby between Bayer Leverkusen and Cologne on Matchday 31 (Sunday 7 May at 3.30pm). Eintracht Frankfurt and Mainz meet the following weekend in their regional encounter, while current third-placed side Union Berlin also host Freiburg, sitting fourth after 25 rounds of fixtures. Both those games are at 3.30pm on Saturday 13 May. Borussia Dortmund welcome Borussia Mönchengladbach in that day’s late kick-off (6.30pm). Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig now also know they will meet in that timeslot on Saturday 20 May on the penultimate weekend.
Matchday 31 in Bundesliga 2 opens with Hamburg’s clash against Paderborn (Friday 5 May, 6.30pm), before current leaders Darmstadt host in-form St. Pauli the following evening (8.30pm). Former Bundesliga champions Nuremberg and Kaiserslautern meet on the Sunday (7 May) at 1.30pm. Matchday 32 sees St. Pauli (currently fifth) welcome Fortuna Düsseldorf (fourth) in Saturday’s late game (13 May, 8.30pm). Near neighbours Arminia Bielefeld and Paderborn meet on Matchday 33 at 1pm on Saturday 20 May.
