Union Berlin 1-1 Bayern Munich

Benedict Hollerbach pounced on a defensive mistake to cancel out Leroy Sané's second-half opener as Union frustrated Bayern in Berlin.

VfB Stuttgart 3-4 Bayer Leverkusen

The defending champions completed a dramatic turnaround from 3-1 down to score an injury-time winner through Patrik Schick and reignite their Bundesliga title hopes. 

RB Leipzig 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

Xavi Simons scored one and set up the other for Loïs Openda, coupled with some goalkeeping heroics from Péter Gulácsi, as Leipzig claimed the spoils over struggling Dortmund.

Bochum 1-3 Eintracht Frankfurt

Goals from Rasmus Kristensen, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya and Michy Batshuayi helped fourth-placed Eintracht end a three-game Bundesliga losing run at lowly Bochum. 

Mainz 2-2 Freiburg

Mainz kept a grip on third place and maintained their three-point lead over Freiburg with a draw at home, despite playing the second half with 10 men.

St. Pauli 1-0 Hoffenheim

Noah Weißhaupt hit the only goal at the Millerntor on Friday night as Pauli claimed a huge result in their survival challenge against fellow strugglers Hoffenheim.

Werder Bremen 2-4 Borussia Mönchengladbach

Alassane Pléa hit a hat-trick and provided an assist as Gladbach held off a Bremen fightback from 2-0 down to boost their European hopes.

Augsburg 1-0 Wolfsburg

Phillip Tietz scored the only goal of the game as Augsburg made it 10 games without defeat and over 600 minutes without conceding for Finn Dahmen.

Heidenheim 3-1 Holstein Kiel

Heidenheim took all three points in a crucial game down at the bottom, with Marvin Pieringer, Budu Zivzivadze and Sirlord Conteh getting the goals.
