Brilliant Bayern Munich on course to shatter all-time Bundesliga goal record
League leaders Bayern Munich are just four goals short of the all-time best for goals in a season as they head into the international break. With Harry Kane and the rest of Vincent Kompany's attacking machine firing on all cylinders, they are set to smash the milestone in the coming weeks.
The sensational Bayern show continues!
Union Berlin were the latest side left reeling from an unstoppable attacking onslaught in Munich on Saturday. Serge Gnabry lashing in a brilliant drive sealed a 4-0 win and moved Bayern to a sensational 97 goals after 27 matches of the 2025/26 season.
Not only are Kompany's incredible charges within a whisker of completing a century of goals for the campaign, they also have the all-time Bundesliga record of 101 goals (set by Bayern in 1971/72) firmly in their sights.

With Bayern bursting opposition nets at the rate of 3.59 goals per game this season, you would not count against them breaking the record in their first encounter after the international break in Freiburg on Matchday 28 (on Saturday 4 April).
They then visit St. Pauli on Matchday 29 (Saturday 11 April) before a captivating affair against fourth-placed VfB Stuttgart in Munich on Matchday 30 (Sunday 19 April).
Kompany was determined to keep his feet on the ground after the Union match, saying: "I believe we can break this record, but our priorities are elsewhere. I don't like to talk about records. We are who we are, and we'll just keep on playing our football."
Kane's second-half strike against Union helped the England striker's hopes of further etching his place in Bundesliga history by moving him onto 31 goals for the season - ten short of Robert Lewandowski's famous record haul of 41 goals in 2020/21.
