Adam Aznou's three-year spell with Bayern Munich has come to an end with the left-back having completed a transfer to English Premier League side Everton.

Aznou made just four competitive appearances for Bayern's senior team since joining the youth setup in 2022 from Barcelona's famous La Masia academy, most recently in a cameo off the bench in the Munich side's 10-0 thrashing of Auckland City in their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 opener.

The 2024/25 campaign was one full of progession for the Moroccan, who was handed his Bundesliga debut in November 2024, coming off the bench to replace Alphonso Davies in the 80th minute of a 3-0 win over Union Berlin.

In the second half of the season, Aznou was sent out on loan to Spanish side Real Valladolid, where he appeared 13 times for a side that ultimately finished bottom of La Liga.

“We regret that we couldn’t continue working together with Adam,” said Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl. “We aim to focus even more on our talents in the future."

Formerly a Spain youth international until 2023 when Aznou elected to instead represent Morocco (the country of his parents' birth), the young full-back has six full caps to his name, having made his debut against Lesotho in an AFCON 2025 qualifier in September 2024.

Aznou is among a long list of players to depart the Allianz Arena this summer as the record champions look to revamp their squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Alongside him, Leroy SanéThomas Müller, Eric DierMathys Tel and Frans Krätzig have all left Munich behind them.
