Kofane impressing as leading man

In the absence of Patrik Schick, Leverkusen summer signing Christian Kofane has scored in back-to-back Bundesliga games. The 19-year-old now has five Bundesliga goals for the season - only two less than his seasoned teammate. He's also produced two assists across his last three league appearances.

The runaway Bundesliga leaders have already scored 92 times this term, leaving them with nine games to break the German top-flight record for single-season goals, set by Bayern's class of 1971/71 (101). Based on their current average of 3.7 goals per game, Vincent Kompany's team are on course to end the campaign with 125 in the goals-for column.

Bayern have won all eight meetings with top-six teams so far this season by an aggregate score of 33-6. They've averaged 4.1 goals per game in those fixtures, compared to 3.5 against sides placed seventh or lower.
