Big European win

Dortmund head to Leipzig in the middle of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off tie with Atalanta. BVB won the first leg 2-0 at home on Tuesday thanks to goals from Serhou Guirassy and Maximilian Beier to give them an extra boost for their weekend trip east.

A season first

Although Leipzig will feel they missed out on an opportunity for three points against Wolfsburg, Brajan Gruda's 89th-minute equaliser helped Die Roten Bullen claim their first point from a losing position this season.

Unrivalled form

Victory over Mainz on Matchday 22 means Dortmund have now won their last six consecutive Bundesliga matches. The last time the Black & Yellows enjoyed such a run was three years ago under Edin Terzić, when they equalled the club record of eight consecutive league wins.
