Guirassy won't get his hat-trick, but Stuttgart will end the night in top spot. Another superb display from the VfB striker.
Guirassy at the double!
Guirassy becomes only the second player in history to reach 10 Bundesliga goals after five matches. It's a lovely finish from the Guinean, dinked over the advancing Schuhen, and it stands following a check for offside. Robert Lewandowski is the only other player to reach double figures at this juncture.
Kempe gets a touch on Ronstadt's raking cross, but Nübel dives to his right to make the save.
Time added on
Into the first of SIX added minutes as a Stuttgart defender gets in a crucial sliding challenge to stop a low cross from finding Stojilkovic in the box.

Darmstadt's last line of defence is called on again after a couple of bites at the cherry from Guirassy.
Mehlem gets the ball in the Stuttgart area. He goes to ground under Zagadou's challenge, but the referee is unmoved.
Silas and Millot cause panic in the Darmstadt box. Guirassy gets off a shot that's blocked. Silas picks it up, but Schuhen recovers the ground and smothers the cross.
Stenzel from range!
The Stuttgart right-back hits his shot really well. The ball's swerving, at an awkward height and takes a bounce in front of the diving Schuhen, who does well to hold onto it.
Stuttgart back at it
Guirassy and Millot show their telepathic understanding with a slick interchange. Millot goes on the outside of his marker in the box, but his cross is straight into the arms of Schuhen.

Incredible! Guirassy collects a pass from Führich outside the box, turns to face goal and drives an unstoppable strike into the top corner. That's nine goals from as many efforts on target for the electric Stuttgart striker. Talk about efficient!
Worth a go!

The visitors build down the right-hand side. Skarke fires in a low cross and Zagadou, attempting to cut it out at the near post, pokes the ball into his own net.

Schuhen has to be on his toes as Silas chases down a deflected pass. The Darmstadt keeper gets there first and hoofs clear.

Here we go!
The ball's rolling in Stuttgart. The hosts will go top, overnight at least, if they avoid defeat.
We've seen 138 Bundesliga goals so far this season, with Stuttgart scoring a league-leading 14, thanks in no small part to 5-0 wins in their first two home games of the campaign.
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers' 'Can't Stop' is being played at the MHP Arena. Perhaps that's what the eight-goal Guirassy's been listening to before games. The man's addicted to scoring right now!
