CLASSIC KLASSIKER

What. A. Game. Bayern looked to be cruising to victory with Goretzka and Sane goals giving the defending Bundesliga champions a 2-0 lead. But Dortmund weren't to be denied. Moukoko pulled one back with 16 minutes remaining. Coman was then sent off for the visitors and the hosts added the pressure that eventually led to Modeste's last gasp equaliser. Stunning.

LATE LEVELLER !

Scenes! Neuer fists Bellingham's centre out. The ball is worked back into the mixer. Schlotterbeck does brilliantly to keep it in play and sends a cross to the far post where Modeste dips to head home an equaliser.

Coman pulls and then tugs some more at Adeyemi who is looking to escape. A free kick and here comes the referee. This is not going to be good news for Coman who was already booked. And there is the second yellow for the Bayern man.

PLAYERS ARE OUT

It's handshakes time. Manuel Neuer leads his Bayern side down the Dortmund line and then awaits his fellow captain, BVB's Mats Hummels, in the centre circle.

The stadium announcer is filling the crowd in on who is in both teams. We await the appearance of the players, who are gathering in the tunnel.

WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE!

There are 81,000 fans inside a packed Signal Iduna Park. The majority of those in attendance are currently belting out a terrific rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone.

FUN FACT !

For the first time since 2012/13, Bayern have no ex-Dortmund players in their squad. At BVB, on the other hand, three ex-Bayern players start today: Can, Hummels and Süle.

With kick-off not long away now, it's time for a quick peek inside the Borussia Dortmund dressing room.

MUSIALA THREAT

Bellingham is good mates with Jamal Musiala, Bayern's 19-year-old attacking pearl and leading marksman in the Bundesliga with five top-flight goals to his name to date. Throw in the Stuttgart native's three assists in the division and it's easy to see why Dortmund will have their work cut out trying to keep the Germany international quiet here.

JUDE BELLINGHAM WATCH

It wasn't just Moukoko who impressed during BVB's midweek win in Sevilla, of course. The Black-and-Yellows were on it collectively against the Liga side but there was that little bit of extra praise from around Europa for Jude Bellingham, who scored a spellbinding goal in his team's 4-1 win in Spain. The eyes of the world will once again be on the England man in today's Klassiker.

TEAM NEWS - DORTMUND

Mats Hummels, Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck all start for Dortmund today, the first time they have all been on the pitch from the off for BVB. Hummels comes in for Thomas Meunier, while Donyell Malen replaces Karim Adeyemi in attack. Youssoufa Moukoko is preferred to Anthony Modeste up front, the youngster having impressed in the Champions League against Sevilla. If the 17-year-old scores today he would become the youngest Klassiker scorer of all time!

TEAM NEWS - BAYERN

Julian Nagelsmann has made two changes to his side following the Champions League win over Plzen in midweek, with Benjamin Pavard replacing Noussair Mazraoui at right-back and Marcel Sabitzer coming in for Ryan Gravenberch in central midfield. Thomas Müller is absent due to illness, while Joshua Kimmich begins on the bench following illness of his own.

NAGELSMANN'S BVB TAKE

Here's how visiting coach Julian Nagelsmann sees Borussia Dortmund from an attacking point of view. "They try to give the opponent more space in areas where there is no risk of scoring and then strike on the counter attack," Bayern's coach explained. "In the final third, they create a lot of good give-and-go situations with their talented players who keep sprinting behind the lines and who are served with good, deep passes."

TERZIC CALLS ON FANS

BVB boss Edin Terzic said today's hosts, "Will need the energy that the fans can give us," in today's colossal Klassiker encounter. Terzic didn't want to put all of the onus on those watching inside Signal Iduna Park, however, with the 39-year-old adding, "Equally, it is our responsibility to show our opponents from the beginning that we want to leave the pitch as winners."
