Heidenheim take an away win at Greuther Fürth. The hosts dominated at the start, but the opening goal was scored by Heidenheim through a fine header from Zivzivadze (12'). Fürth's new centre-forward is in the squad for the first time, but takes his place on the bench. The American lad most recently played in Portugal, and once scored nine goals in 75 Bundesliga matches for Union Berlin and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Vogt in focus

Heidenheim also have a player whom they signed just before the transfer deadline in their starting XI: Alessandro Vogt joined on loan from Hoffenheim on Monday after signing for the Sinsheimers on a permanent basis from St. Gallen earlier in the summer. For St. Gallen, the 21-year-old Swiss striker impressed last season, scoring 15 top-flight goals and also winning the domestic cup.
