Full-time: Arminia Bielefeld 1-2 Dynamo Dresden
An away win for Dresden comes right at the death. After the break, Arminia initially took command and netted an equaliser. The match then really picked up pace - Lannert was sent off for a professional foul, and a Kutschke goal was disallowed for offside. In the closing stages, Dynamo pushed forward with the numerical advantage and were rewarded in the final minute as Herrmann scored a spectacular bicycle kick, securing Dresden the late victory.

Last-gasp winner!
Finally, Dynamo reap the rewards of their pressure with a goal in (almost) the last minute, thanks to an overhead kick to boot! Faber delivers another cross from the right into the penalty area, where Herrmann leaps into the air and scores with a stunning effort!

Dresden pressure
The visitors have taken command and are playing around the Bielefeld penalty area. Two corners have been and gone in last two minutes: both were delivered imprecisely, and Arminia are throwing themselves at every ball.

Will he redeem himself?
Kutschke hasn't scored since early February - he's been waiting 197 days for a goal. But there's still enough time to change there, as there are eleven minutes of stoppage time!

Kutschke!
The striker is sent through on goal and shoots from the right-hand side. The angle is a bit too tight, and the effort lacks power as well.

Half-time: Arminia Bielefeld 0-1 Dynamo Dresden
Bielefeld are showing commitment and have responded well, but they remain behind. Dresden also didn't create many clear-cut opportunities, but effectively used a half-chance and lead at the break as a result. They did start well, though, and controlled proceedings for long stretches.

Celebrations at the Alm
The Arminia fans already have their first reason to celebrate before kick-off. After two years on loan, Markus Wörl is now a permanent member of the squad. This has just been announced.
Stamm relies on continuity
For Dresden, Thomas Stamm refrains from making personnel changes from the Cup match against Mainz and once again fields the same eleven.
One change for Arminia
After the Cup win against Bremen, Arminia manager Mitch Kniat makes one change to his starting eleven. Oppermann starts in goal in place of Kersken, who was sent off after a second yellow card in the last league match. This is Oppermann's seventh competitive appearance for Arminia, with each one ending in a victory, and he's only had to pick the ball out of his net once every 156 minutes on average!
Starting line-up: DSC Arminia Bielefeld
Starting line-up: SG Dynamo Dresden
Thomas Stamm speaks
"Two teams are facing each other that can play with very high intensity. We can expect a very similar, tight match to the one we had three months ago."
Kniat against Dynamo
Mitch Kniat's first point as a coach against Dresden came in last season's 1-1 draw at the beginning of May. That was the first point he'd won in six games against them, having lost three times with Bielefeld and twice with Verl.
Großer's Dresden past
Bielefeld defender Maximilian Großer was born in Dresden and made his debut for Dynamo in Bundesliga 2 at the age of 18.
Bielefeld's streak to resume?
Bielefeld have won all of the last four encounters in Bundesliga 2. The most recent of those came at home in June 2020, when they won 4-0.
A mixed bag for Arminia
Bielefeld only managed to take one point off Dresden in four third division games in the past two seasons, but have a much better Bundesliga 2 record against them, winning six, drawing two and losing two of the past 10 meetings.
